finally, here's the post-easter sim (sorry pals for the delay, all kind of problems caught up with me this extended weekend) Anyway, we're halfway through the season and here's the latest: The Soph's beat the Rooks at the AllStar weekend The West killed the East defensively among big boys. And the Pacers and Trailblazers lead the conferences ... Have fun discussing ...

ok, i understand, you anticipated the loss to the Celtics already. well, glad i could fulfill that request ... and on some more positive notes from New England: Josh Boone won ROOKIE OF THE MONTH, and Paul Pressey added a PLAYER OF THE WEEK to his resume as the Celtics defeated the powerhouses Magic and Timberwolves this sim.

1st sim with Buck is bad as we go 1-4, but our 3 losses were to the top 3 teams in the league

4-3 sim isn't exactly setting the world on fire, but considering the recent changes to my roster, I guess I shouldn't complain too much. All three of the losses came at the hands of playoff teams, and by a total of 8 pts - even less reason to complaing; two of the losses were at home, though, which is always a bit of a sore point.
Dumars and Benjamin performed individually as expected, but team TO's creeped up abit which is odd since I made my best handler an option this time around thinking that the flow on offence would pick up some. Didn't happen, and he doesn't really care to shoot either - so at least I learned that. Still need to find the right third option on O....
Had two guys on the rook squad, which is pretty good I guess - only all-star reps out of the swamp.

Lost the 1st game of the sim, then won the next 4... Welp has given the team quite a defensive boost, which is the one thing I was really lacking... I think this team has the potential to do some damage in the play-offs...

A little more in depth analysis of the "New" Pistons:
Brandon - 22.6 PPG, 5.4 RPG, 11.2 APG Welp - 12.2 PPG, 16.4 RPG, 1.6 SPG, 3.0 BPG Chapman - 25.2 PPG, 3.0 RPG, 2.8 APG, 3.0 SPG
Seems like the only person that really suffered was Vlade as he had a very mediocre sim...
Offensive team stats are looking very nice: PPG - 2nd RPG - 8th APG - 7th ToPG - 1st FTm - 1st FTa - 1st FT% - 1st 3ptm - 4th 3pta - 5th 3pt% - 7th
And the Defensive stats are on the way up with the help of Welp...

We are not really at par defensively. We run a high octane offense but the scoring difference is only 3 ppg. pfft.

well playing without most likely DPOY Stan for most of the sim and hector is still beat the cavs at their own court. Hope the injury bug had his fun with my team because next sim i will be without my starting C and backup.

as usual none of my players get any serious consideration for ALLstar weekend. i am glad that they take teamplay over individual performance.
