I'm keeping mum about my team because I don't want to jinx it. Very Happy

5-3 is a passable result, each loss was to a +500 team.

Went with Byron at the point, and he wasn't too bad at all earning POTW the first week. Zollner/Sap are putting up over 26ppg at the pivot, which is plenty solid. Forward rotation is a little underproductive right now, but am sure it will come around a bit. Ball movement and protection is still an issue, but team D has been fine.

interesting sim.

won 2 games by 2 points and lost 2 by the same margin. So the 4-3 overall record could have easily been 6-1 or 2-5 as well.

too bad Wright went down against the Pacers, would have been interesting to see him go against Sabas (well, Kleine and Geiger did shut down Sabonis, but I think the help D on Orlando was missing allowing the Woolman for some torrid 15-22 shooting).

Not sure if this is a playoff team though ...

Oops.  I thought I did.  I tried to double check the couple teams that didn't post DCs.  I'm sorry I missed yours.  It is difficult because I have to use the save from before any preseasons are run.

The Spurs are struggling with turnover issues.  I had the problem all through preseason and need to find a way to cut down on them.  Giving up 2 more turnovers than you force is a recipe for another visit to the lottery.

Chris Paul with 27/21 in the like 6th game of is career. Shooting better than .510 (in preseason he wasn't far behind) and i have no idea where that is coming from, as in reality he didn't even crack those numbers in his 4th season now ...

We're headed for a massive desaster of "overration" here ...

Actually, no.  The preseason sims aren't used in the first regular season sim.  If you miss the first DC, then it's computer rec.

And when you think about it, that's the best way to go.

People intentionally play odd-ball units in preseason to test out lesser players on their roster and make decisions on the final roster/rotation spots.  People will often put their best 3 players in IR, and player their scrubs.

Putting a policy in place to use previous preseason sims for Sim 1 would be a bad policy IMO.  It may have helped you out in this one situation, but that doesn't mean it would be a good idea for the league going forward.

He's averaging 19/9/6 on a 4-3 team with only a 3/1 assist to turnover ratio.  We've seen better pg's in our day.  Let's see how he turns out before constantly complaining.

we did? holy crap, we've NEVER seen a PG before getting numbers like 29pts, 10rb, 21ass, 5stls, shooting .531/.889/.462 in his FIRST SIM. Not even close.

I was complaining when i saw the initial draft ratings ... and now i got the first numbers to back up my claim.

And that's all you'll hear from me about Chris Paul.
