nothing much happening so far.

My Celtics took one in Canada, the Raps took it right back. All three games blowout wins by 10 or more.
Now Woodson will return and I can finally set up my game plan.

Props to the Nets for not only slipping into the playoffs but fully taking advantage of the mediocre #2 seed.

 Cheers

nice, 2-1 start without my top scorer. Won the 2 games by 35 and 22.

Not much happening...except you, me and everyone knows that if you want to take a run at a top team in a series, you should probably be ahead in the 3 games without the opposing team's top scorer and should probably not get blown out by 22 at home. Palacio played as good as could have been expected, but Woodson will be a large upgrade.

I love how you make it sound like Woodson coming back is the best thing that can happen to you. Palacio and Williams combined for just short of 30 ppg against Arizin and company, and they don't score the ball like Woody does.

BTW, in the Harper Owning Magloire Watch,

Game 1 - Harper - 17 pts (21 shots), 11 asts, 4 rebs, 3 stls
             Magloire - 15 pts (11 shots), 14 asts, 4 rebs, 7 stls

Game 2 - Harper - 12 pts (11 shots), 7 asts, 4 rebs, 3 stls
             Magloire - 17 pts (13 shots), 9 asts, 8 rebs, 1 stl

Game 3 - Harper - 6 pts (13 shots), 8 asts, 4 rebs, 5 stls
             Magloire - 20 pts (11 shots), 10 asts, 8 rebs, 2 stls

Owned, indeed  Bounce

yes, you are right. Sitting Woodson would be the best thing you could do, can it get any better than 30ppg from one position? And i'm sure the Raptors home loss (only the 2nd since you put your current team together) is also something you planned for.

well, as i said before, we're afraid of nobody, and clearly not of a team that last made the 2nd round of the playoffs in 2019, 8 seasons ago!

so let's get back to the hardwood ...

well avg 60 rebs and over 30ass a game clearly helped my team in the matchup with the hawks. glad that the nets took the sixers out. i think i will match up better against them.

Laughing at Cletics wanting woodsen. he just avg. 36pts on his own.

raptors hornets should be a fun matchup. it seems that the raptors build their team similar to the hornets one. it might come to a cross matchup between mike and macy. if macy can score more than mike the hornets might survive this series.

congratulations Raptors, your win was well deserved.
guess you should be able to get the title this year, truly magnificent team.
 Cheers

But there are positives on my Celtics side as well:
i can take losing by 3 and 7 points against the dominant team in the east.
I knew I have nobody to stop Woodson, but I was hoping to slow him down some more. Plus, he's not exactly a good defender, and Arizin shot 15-25 against him in the two games. But it wasn't enough.
Great triple double from Magloire: 11/18 and 10 turnovers. Harper didn't (need to) own him, but that matchup wasn't the reason for the loss.

Interesting sidefact:
we lost one game by 7 where we were outshot 38% to 49% and outrebounded 45 to 60
and we lost the other game by 3 where we were outshot 56% to 46% and outrebounded yet again.

No, this Celtics team of nobodies won't win a title anytime soon, but i like it and i'm proud of the way it overachieves.
And for the "frustration" of no titles, i have 27 fellow GMs joing me in that eash season ...

awful performance for my squad, we are a good team, but in the east, not good enough to win the title or even a playoff round as constructed.  Not going for wholesale changes, but will make some changes to try and improve the squad.

congrats to the nets! They played well through out the season. Byron  scott was a superb addition, imo. For me, they are still one of the top teams in the league. And i experience it with a 4-0 sweep against my overrated team.

Again, congrats! Gudluck 2 u and ur team in the playoffs!

Well got by the Cs rather easily, but kudos to atom for keeping the last 2 games close. Pacers is correct that my team is alot like the Hornets. I didn't really attempt to go that way as much as I did, but I couldn't be happier than to model the two time defending champs. I wouldn't be at all shocked if it went 7+, and while I have home court I'm sure I'd be a large vegas underdog. This is a great test for us, as right now the hornets are the team to beat
