How is this fair to the rest of us if you sign a player (at 3:50) before you even post that day five of FA (3:56)is done? This is not the first time this has happened either.

I noticed the same thing.  I'm sure that signing isn't going to change the fate of the league, but, there does seem to be a very iffy ethical area there.

I would say ... until at least FA is over and posted.  I think that's what is in question.

FA result was uploaded already. i wasn't checking out any available FA before.
i had 15 guys and checked first my TC after that i checked the remaining FA. i don't care about pearl. he is a backup on my team and if you think i did something wrong i won't resign him.

Whether or not it was uploaded wasn't the point.  It wasn't posted that it was complete.  Heck even if you had posted it then immediately signed a player it would still be circumspect as you would have a greater ability to know the moment when free agency was done than anyone else.

I'd suggest waiting 12 hours just to avoid any appearance of you having an unfair advantage due to your position, as that type of appearance jeopardizes the integrity of the league.

This has always been the case in other leagues I have been in, the 12 hour (or 24hr) rule was in place for this exact reason

lol 12 hours are you serious? for a guy no one could sign through 5 FA days. well i think there will always be an advantage for the guy who first is online but if it is the simmer it is an unfair advantage  Shocked
never mind pearl will be dropped back to FA. but wait who will have the unfaie advantage now  Laughing

No player should be signed until Day 5 FA is Uploaded and Posted

Nobody (i think) would have blinked if the FA was posted, and then the Pacers signed Pearl.  It's just the fact that he was signed before the previous step in the process was posted.  (I don't think having to wait 12/24 hours is necessary - it's the five minutes beforehand that matters)

Just my five cents.

we do have a wait period for an hour or two before FA sigings are allowed in another league ... and that's a great thing. It gives people time to look at FA classes, TC results (as this is the MAIN attraction in post-FA signings: Find the unsigned gem that improved a bunch in TC) before making the decision, and from the deadline it's first come first serve ... but again only 1 guy per team per 14 hours for the first 2 days. Again a good thing: nobody can grab the top 3 FA's right away.
