Spurs agree. Woodson has given the Spurs some great years but I needed a young big man so I could keep Barkley at SF. And I have a couple younger players that I think can step in to the starting SG slot.

No brainer for the Raps, which is not at all to say I think it's a lopsided deal, I actually think it's pretty even or even a little in the Spurs advantage...but I had to get another scorer and I think Woodson fills out my roster very nicely
With Pryz I get a nice young shotblocker...depending on what Kite can do at PF we could actually have a good shotblocking team, something I've been dreaming about for years. I think my roster has filed out nicely.
Corzine(A)/Pryz(A-) Kite(A)/Pryz(A-) Nique(B+)/Blackman(A) Woodson(A-)/Blackman(A)/Shireman(A+) Whatley(A-)/Williams(A-)/Shireman(A+)
Love that defense.

great trade for the raptors. finally getting the second scorer they needed next to nique. while kevin might produce more points for the spurs he is a better PF than C. not sure how laporte, barkely and willis can play together with no real outside shooting.

I think Willis is somewhat underrated. At 26 he was the 3rd best rebounder in the league and best rebounding PF. I was salivating at a chance to play the top C rebounder and top PF rebounder in the same lineup, but I really needed a scorer.

And now I can start a lineup with 3 of the best rebounders in the game right now:
C - Laporte (plays better here than PF) PF - Willis SF - Barkley
I think that using Willis in place of Pryzbilla in my big man rotation will be an upgrade. I will miss Woodson's scoring some but expect Barkley and Lever to pick up the slack.

well you will need all the rebounding you can get . you really think you can score against such interior defense forces like hornets and now raptors?

Forget the deal then. I don't feel that I should have to double check the other GM's assets available for trade. The time restriction is ok but trading something he traded away a week earlier...eh, forget it.

Forget the deal over a 2nd? I went back and looked at our discussions and you didn't even want the 2nd in the first place, it was my request that it was in there

Forget the deal over a 2nd? I went back and looked at our discussions and you didn't even want the 2nd in the first place, it was my request that it was in there I also went back and looked at our messages. In the very first one you included the draft pick. My only response (change) was to ask you to take my second rounder back. No mention whatsoever of not wanting your second. And I am willing to let Bods & the commish look at the messages to verify this. Mostly the response this morning was in frustration that the deal didn't go through and I changed my DC to account for it. Maybe I should have shown some more diligence in researching limitations on the deal but I felt I was dealing with one of the more experienced GMs and this smacks of a newbie problem.

I'd appreciate in the future if you would at least contact me to ask me about it before publically chastising me. Also take alook at your pms, as I said I am willing to throw in my 2030 2nd and or $200 to make up for it.
I do apologize for my error in posting the years. thats the only mistake that was made.
