Since we're heading toward the conference finals - is there any word on when extension offers for this year will be posted? Or perhaps can we give some thought to extending the deadline to accept/decline?

Thanks.

they're up.  Sorry for the delay.  I do agree it should probably be extended a bit.

Thanks, Bods.

What's the word on the adjusted schedule, Pacers? As is, the sched shows that extensions are due in about 20hrs?

Unless it's 100%, I don't see how it can be anything other than an extension.

I mean, if we're considering extending the deadline because we think it being so short might cause people to miss, if "most" of the people aren't affected, that's not really what we're going for.  I don't think you can say "well, we thought about pushing back the deadline because we (RE: I) got extensions up late.  This might have affected you getting your submissions in, but the majority of people got theirs in on time, so despite the fact that it was our fault you didn't get yours in on time, we're going to proceed with ending the season anyway".

To me, I think we should definitely push back the deadline.  I know we all want to proceed as quickly as possible, but having people miss key events when it could be prevented is the worst possible outcome IMO.

IMO there should be at least 48 hours after the offers are posted.  Almost everyone here checks in within every couple days...and I would say most check in daily.  Also everyone should already know who their FAs are and how much/long they would be willing to sign them for.

maybe you missunderstand my post. at the moment 5 gms didn?t make their decision. 1 is out on vacation for 2 more weeks and i won't wait for him. the other 4 are usual checking in every 2nd day. so there is a good chance everyone will make their decision in time. if not i will extend it.

Hence why I said "unless it's 100%".
