finally i could beat the celtics. still without dwight my defense is doing a great job. sabs is still leading the league in scoring and is 5th in rebounding. with only 3 games next sim and dwight back i might try something different.

Solid-er 5-2 sim for the Nets, and caught up to the Celts in win%. My theory that MJ wanted out proved true - he played his most inspired basketball this sim. Fortson came back down to earth abit, but still was solid: I'm not sure if his future lays at the two or one.
Not too satisfied with team TO's, but that should be getting better. Very happy with the improvements in team D - both Pryz and Dial were shutting down quality bigs (except Hakeem). Majerle struggled in some matchups, but he's coming around. Would like team rebounding and perimeter D to pick up abit, but otherwise I'm pretty satisfied with team play.

Disappointing 2-2 sim, blow out wins and home but one blow out and one close loss on the road.
I hope this won't be the year of inconsistency but we are 7-0 at home and 1-6 on the road.

Well, I am ashamed of myself for havin ever doubted Lester Connor's ability to bounce back form a bad TC. He is playing better this year then he ever has. He racked up 20 ppg, 6 rpg, 7 apg, 3.3 spg with only 2.3 topg this past sim, and had his first triple double against the Nuggets on day 27.
Both Doleac and vern have improved their shooting a great deal over the last 2 sim. This past sim, Vern racked up 25 ppg on 46% and 41% shooting, to go along with 4.7 rpg, 5.1 apg, and 2.4 spg. Doleac scored 17 ppg on 49% and 52% shooting.
Rodney McCray has been playign extremely well in his new 6th man role. 24 mpg, 9.4 ppg, 6.8 rpg. Looks like this is his best role.
Kemp has not been impressive, but he has not brought the team down. 29 mpg, 9.6 ppg on 42% shooting, but with a nice 8.7 rpg, and he has gotten his TO's under control.
Happy at this point in the season...

SCored 100ppg this sim (115.5 at home and 84.5 on the road [!!]) and gave up 94.8. Not bad, but it sure looks like we are gonna need to have home court to have success in the playoffs...its still pretty early yet though.
Kite - 7.5ppg, 11rpg, 2bpg
--I'll take those numbers too. At his current season percentages of 8/11/2.6 I think he finally makes his contract legit. Just needs to get better at staying on the court.
KWill - 15.3ppg, 10rpg, 2.5bpg
--Would have been a fantastic 4 game sim if not for his 7pt 6reb final game against the Heat.
Salley - 6ppg, 4.8rpg, 2.3bpg
--Great block numbers off the bench. I would be thrilled to have 3 guys over 2 blocks per game consistently, but this was just a 4 game sim.
Nique - 25.8ppg, 8rpg, 1.5spg
--He's been everything I had hoped he would be. Much more consistent sim for Nique, great to see.
Blackman - 15ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.5spg
--Steals are still excellent, I expect him in the top 10 by the all-star break. He's been more consistent lately as well.
Wiggins - 8.3ppg, 4rpg, 0.5spg
--Looking for him to steal the ball more but those are good numbers off the bench.
Kersey - 14ppg, 8apg, 1.5topg
--He's played so much better this year. We have no one on the team averaging more than 2.4 turnovers and we are first in the league in that category.

Ah, injuries will be the death of this team. I have my DC set so that 1 injury is like a domino effect. That's what I get for not having any depth.

4-4. lousy.
some close losses to the Pacers and Nuggets and Cavs this sim, even at home. The overachieving times are gone, reality set in.
And no, I won't shed a tear with Kelly gone ...

I really can't wait until David Greenwood comes aboard. I really need a defensive presence at the PF.
My offensive game is really good (Magloire, Manning and Hawkins are one of the best trios in the game), but my post defense is really struggling.
