well orlando seems to like his new place. started with a 40pt+ game and avg. over 22pts and 8rebs in 16 games. arvydas is ready to be the man for the pacers but now it seems that stan is also emerging as my starting C. With Welp and Dwight also in the mix i will have to make a tough decision who will start for my team. hopson didn?t like the new focus at all. overall my guys did an excellent job at the defense end. should be a nice season ahead for my team.

With the replacement of my new headcoach and his new system this season, Mailman has been having a hard time thriving with this change. I'm hoping that it's just a 1st sim bug and he could drop 21ppg at a consistent basis, in the succeeding sims. Petrovic, Strickland, Malone and Wooten provides the new promising image for this young squad. While Wu, provides me a promising FA next season via his expiring contract.

Decent sim for the Wiz, 6-10 out of the gate is a pretty good start for the worst team in the league last season.
Tisdale is looking like a 20/10 guy this year, I just need to find a way to get more production out of Smits, X and Byron. I've removed Smits from my options in favour of Scott for the next sim, slowed the pace to help with TO's and reined in the trap to try and keep the big Dutchman out of foul trouble.
Onward and upward for the Wizards.

Yuuuuuuuuck. 3-7 with what I thought would be basically my starting lineup. I had my bench set up for offense over defense, which may not have worked as well.
After how well Willis played in the playoffs as the #1 option I went back to him, but clearly I can't do that without making the focus inside.
Kite looks like he is finally ready to emerge as the C some of us thought he could be - 10.7ppg on 47.5% shooting and 11.3rpg. Was hoping for closer to 2bpg but I'll take those numbers consistently.
Doleac was good for 10.9ppg off the bench and Theus came off the bench for 11.0. Can't ask for much more scoring, but apparently they forgot to play D, as we stunk on that end and I have faith in my starters.
It didn't work out with Willis. Played under 30 mins and led the league in fouls per game. Only 14.4ppg on poor percentages. Did get 10.2rpg so I'm happy enough about that but I need these stats to improve as a possible non-option.
Nique played fine, 22.3ppg as a 2nd option. Hopefully I'll get 25-27ppg as a 1st option. Decent rebounding too at 7.8 but at 3.1 his turnovers are much too high.
Blackman was the major disappointment of the sim. Only 9.9ppg is not gonna cut it - I got him to be the guy to push my offense into the top 10 in the league which takes 100+ ppg....and we only scored 97.1.
Kersey continues to quitely be among the league leaders in APG every year. If he wants to score 13.5 on 46% all year I would be thrilled with that. 3.5 turnovers may be a little higher than I would like as it is contributing to the team being rahter high in tos.
But hey waht do I know, it's only preseason.

Nice presim, but I played my prospective starting 5. I will play around with game pace now to see if I can't improve things.

Celtics started mostly backups, but had some nice results, beating some teams with starters and playing others close. Kenny Sharman, my 2nd round pick, was a huge surprise dropping 16/4/6 and 2 steals while having nobody to pass to. Very solid defense against the best opponents. Since he's just 19 I made have found a future option here. Very encouraging. Wyatt was up and down, as expected. He's definitely no Archibald, and not even a Dante now, but he doesn't hesitate to shoot and may have kind of an "instant offense" role. Evan Hunt started at PF and while 10/8/1.6blk doesn't sound like much it was more than expected. Overmatched against bigger opponents, but who isn't. And finally Eddy Aames, my waiver guy. Zero offense, but boy can he defend. Before DRob finally killed him on day 14 he held great opponents down defensively. Seikaly, Smits, Hakeem, Bol at difficulty scoring against his massive body. Let's see if we can put up a winning team for sim 2 ...

Kenny Sharman Ooh, that's a tough name -- in America we have a saying "Soft as Charmin" (it's pronounced similarly) -- Charmin being a type of toilet paper. Hopefully he will not live down to his name...

Well, hard to tell how well things worked, pre-season lineups and all.
but Gary Grant was 19.9ppg, 8.5apg and 2.4spg at the 1... Hardaway at the 2...? = 22.3ppg, 4.9rpg, 4.7apg with 2.1spg
Albert King was a nice surprise off the bench (12ppg) and Xavier Stockton was decent with 10 and 8
More experiments before I delve into trade negotiations...

Atleast I will have a nice draft pick if this team plays like that all year... Can't ask for much more when you are trying to re-build I guess...
