Yeah, Tanner's under 1 points per shot, Pettit's at 1.35 or so.

I doubt he averages 29 ppg the entire season.  He'll come down to earth eventually.  Probably in the 24-25 range.

And I think at least a good part of that is having an inside option like Emeka.  That should make him more efficient that he normally would.

But 2.3 three's made a game at 57% is ridiculous.

yea realistically Petit will average 25 and Tanner will probabaly stay around 18 but part of that probably does have to do with you having Emeka and outside my best threat is Allan Houston

lol, Shaq had 33 and 20 on Tanner this first sim....Tanner had 4 and 7 but did have 5 blocks

Yeah but Shaq only shot 13 for 26...  Which, against Shaq, is pretty good defense.. lol

lol yea you may be right...Tanner will be the premiere defensive center but without an outside option like say a Carmelo Anthony or someone like that I can't really see how he would do on a succesful team...it's basically just he and Strom inside missing layups

That 3 point percentage will likely come down a bit, probably to the 40%-45% range...

Even though Biedrins did not improve greatly in training camp (+1 defense), his play has improved.  That extra defense is letting him stay on the court more, and he is averaging 17.4 ppg and 8 rpg in 31 mpg....

When Jason Richardson improves his 3pt percentage a bit (now 31%, hopefully up to 37% by mid year), he may be averaging 25 ppg.

Petit and Okafor can "own" me all they want. The bottom line- Raptors beat the Nets, and the Heat in the first sim.

And I am not happy at all yet. I'm really gonna mess around, try to get more PT for Boozer, Ellis.

Ah, dude...  Boozer fouled out in 3 games, and had 5 fouls in two more...  He cannot get any more time...  Wow... 4.7 fouls per game...

Terrible start of the season. James has been perfect, Martin has been pretty good, but not enough from Z. He has to step it up. And the fact that there is no one to distribute the ball isn't helping the matter.

Yeah, I realize that. I doubt it will stay like that though. He's had to defend alot of decent PF's. And my help defense was probably pretty weak.

But 19.9 an 9 in 28 mins is pretty damn impressive too.

Oh, the numbers are good, and I am sure his fouls will go down...
But the only way to get him more minutes is to reduce his fouls...
Mihm is not a good help defender, it looks like, even with that A- defense...

Thank you very much for the #3 pick Nets, Dalembert would have never put up these kind of numbers and with Nash on my team, there is nothing better then an offensive Center...  Oscar Ferry - 31.8 MPG, 26.8 PPG, 9.2 RPG, 2 APG, 1.7 SPG, 1.1 BPG, 47% FG...  Also, Terpening had a pretty good 1st sim...  Terp - 32.9 MPG, 15 PPG, 6.3 RPG, 4.5 APG, 1.4 SPG...  I'd say he was a pretty good snag with the #10 pick...  I just wish i had a decent SG, so i could play him at his natural position...  Anyways I was very happy on the performances of my 2 Rookies, and my whole team as well...  Still hoping to improve in the next sim though...

Wow... 6-1 start. I know it won't last because I played 6 home games. A true test will come when I play the Mavs twice and visit the Nets in the next sim.

But I might enjoy this as long as it lasts... Hahaha.
My team is an offensive powerhouse now. Yeah that's right, the Clippers score 107 ppg! The team shoots over 50%. I have 3 players in the top 5 of 3pt %... they all 3 shoot over 60% from downtown.
Brand is still amazing. He is a true all star. He does not score like some other PF's do, but he does all the things. He is a top PF for assists and blocks.

I know it is too good to be true and it won't last, but as for now... I love my Clippers!!!

It's probably not Mihm. It's probably guys beating Finley constantly.

And then there is Devean George using his head incorrectly just like in the real NBA....

Quote
Injuries
Name Injury Duration
Devean George Broken Skull 58

I was looking at him as my starter in the next sim when I play 10 games in 10 days.

BTW is the duration measured in days or games?

Measures in days, not games...

BTW, anyone notice Ray Allen???  Talk about a green light.  He averaged 9 3 pt attempts per game...  That is 3 more then the closest player...  And he hits 45% of them   Shocked
