For the Sixers, Iverson just hasn't been able to throw the ball into the ocean (34.5% shooting, 21.7% downtown).  Those are both down over 10% from last years numbers (3pt down 16%).  I wouldn't worry.

Yet.

I'm worried about Ferry stealing Pettit's ROY.

Raps, you traded:
Ferry (26.8 ppg, 9.2 rpg) and Daniels (17.6 ppg, 8.1 apg) for Boozer (19.9 ppg, 9 rpg).  

Then you passed on Mercer (22 pts, 4.2 rpg, 9 apg) to take Ellis (6.1 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 3.6 apg).



Still, Daniels probably hasn't seen a contested shot all year.  As long as you're not Eric Snow you probably should score 15 ppg as the 3rd option with Emeka and Pettit.

You beat me by 1, but Pettit and Okafor absolutely owned Carter and Boozer.

Suns might have done better had they submitted a depth chart.

Wow again.  After looking at the team stats, the Nuggets are averaging 107.3 PPG, and only giving up 87.  A 20 point differential?    I don't think that'll last much longer, unfortunately, since my starters at the 1, 2, & 3 aren't real good defensively.  But if I can keep filling it up, maybe it won't matter.  

Sorry to post twice, but I'm still in shock.  After being primarily a defense-first team last year, the move to an offense-first team this year has started out quite nicely and unexpectedly.

Petit and Okafor can "own" me all they want. The bottom line- Raptors beat the Nets, and the Heat in the first sim.

And I am not happy at all yet. I'm really gonna mess around, try to get more PT for Boozer, Ellis.

Might run a faster pace, think maybe Sam is in good enough shape to try it.

Looking to score more.

Might run a faster pace

That would probably make your starters play less minutes (get tired quicker).  Not sure that would help get Boozer more time.

By faster, I mean I'm changing the pace to "Normal" from Slow.

And Boozer will get more time. Too bad Ostertag will have to suffer, but that's how it will be.

Also, my focus has gone to a balanced offense, as I have alot of scorers outside.

And Ellis WILL start. Finley will be a great boost off the bench, and should still get decent minutes. Ellis is my 3rd option now.

I'm going to explore trading Vince.

THe Hawks go 3-5, which is ok...bright spot was from Josh Smith who was incredible starting at SF when Al Harrington got injured....Marques Baly had a big game when Harrington got injured also....Tanner has his goods and his bads...he had a game where he scored 16 pts and shot 29 times...then in the last game of the sim he had 36/13/4 which is good....he shoots better from three than he does from the field....7'4 shooting 31% doesn't cut it for me....he's played good but needs to step it up....Strom has been solid like I expect....Antonio Burks has been impressive in limited time also...overall Tanner is just ok and i'm gonna have to work w/my lineup to see what combinations work the best

Yea this class definitely was huge in this first sim....Ferry surprised me the most, Tanner over Petit could end up comparing to Sam Bowie over Jordan at this rate....Petit could be the SSBA's greatest player by the time he's done

Only avg 84.7 but also only gave up 91.5 pts.  Biggest problem:

Yea there's still a lot of time and they should both get better....but Petit is playing very very well, shooting a good% and all that, while Tanner takes 29 shots as my second option to get 16pts, I'm afraid to put him as my first option

But he is the only center in the league that can defend Shaq and Yao one on one.  He may end up being the best defensive center in the league, instead of the next Shaq (the next Shaq being Araujo, of course)

lol, Shaq had 33 and 20 on Tanner this first sim....Tanner had 4 and 7 but did have 5 blocks
