Kind of surprised how Podoloff dropped to the 20th pick. Very Happy

i am more surprised by the bulls pick. i was pretty sure they didn't need another scorer who has no interest in defense.

Wow, I got 2 guys whom I ranked higher. Two guys who already got solid ratings and A potentials.

no cpu picks. only sixers messed their list up a little bit by sending me a list for every pick available Smile

I tried desperately to trade to get into this area of the draft.

Saperstein and Archibald could be HUGE!

Archibald could be the steal of the draft - guys tend to steer clear of low DEF/POT guys, but this guy should be a flat out scorer. I gave him some serious thought as a scoring option off the bench.

In the end, Saperstein's size, interior scoring ability and pretty balanced skillset for a big were too much for me to pass up - I'm thrilled to have him. I'm hoping he can be one of those guys who's size translates to better production than you'd expect from the ratings.

He's also a great fit for my team's frontcourt moving forward: Dial and Koncak provide beef and defense in the short term at least, with Wanzer/Saperstein providing in-close scoring threats - and Prz some of both - for 3+ years. Their development will determine what happens with Dial and Koncak over the next couple of years.

Archibald in my opinion was hands down the BPA. He doesn't fit my team great because of Ransey (who is available BTW) but he looks like he's going to be too awesome a scorer to pass up this late in the draft.

There is NO WAY you can pass up an A- B scorer at the 13th pick in the draft.  If he starts, he's an automatic 22+ ppg scorer right from the get-go.  If he comes off the bench, he can be a double digit scorer off the bench in 20-25 minutes.

Steals:
Stacey King (had him at the 11th spot)
George McLoud (ranked him second behind King)
Montross (C+ inside, B outside, B- defense, A potential; could have been a lotto pick in a weak draft)
Podoloff (It's hard to pass up a guy with that much upside and potential)
Archibald (Like Bods' said, a legit 20ppg scorer. But I guess GMs, like me, stayed away from his poor potential)
Barros (like Archibald, can contribute now. But the difference is that I don't see how much Barros can contribute. He's a half cooked PG/SG player).

I had Archibald and Saperstein rated high in the draft class, huge upside.

Pretty jazzed that Podoloff slipped to #20, 7'5" with C+ in all the important categories, and an A potential.  I figured the way my luck had gone in the draft so far I'd end up with the 10th guy on my list, Podoloff was #3.

A couple of decent players still out there but it's starting to get thin to be sure.

Had I kept the #11 pick, Saperstein or Archibald would have been my choice.  Although, with a lack of size and an already good SG, I would have probably picked Saperstein.

Archibald (if given playing time) could easily be ROY...but he could also be buried on somebody's bench due to a lack of defensive abilities.  (It's all about the situation/team/teammates for some players)
