FBB can?t sim day 120. i am getting the message: run-time error '9' subscript out of range.

Yeah, check with those dudes. I wonder though, if you tuck the save file somewhere safe (copy it somewhere outside of the games files), you could also try to install the game again, and then copy the save file back in safely? |

i'm sure he considered this and there's jus tthe sim 7 file left. Heck, if for a couple of seasons nothing bad is happening you get a pretty safe feeling, i know that. But at least it reminds me that i'm NOT overcautious in DJSL where i store away a copy of the safe file before and after each sim (until the season ends). Thats life I guess ...  |

We have save files after every sim. The problem is, if you load up every one after sim 8, 9, 10, or 11, they all die on day 120. They all work up until that point. |

SIZE? too many trades probably.
or too few, so FBB decides the league isn't worth to continue ?
in DJSL my league file went from 661k size before the 2008 season to 783k before the 2023 season (and from 2080k to 2167k at seasons end). Not really big. And since player retirements take historic stats away too that can't be an issue ...

if we can't find a solution for the sim 12 file, i have to go back to the sim 7 file and insert all moves one more time. if we get the error again we might have found a FBB bug. maybe there is a limit for transactions?
the problem is that this will take some time and i have to check the file after every sim till end of season.
Also we have to decide if we go back in the schedule to sim 7 and sim as usual 3 times a week. Or just sim till day 110 and everyone can then decide if they want to change their lineups for the last sim.

i can't see it being a size or limit problem, when i had a copy of fbb i played for like 25+ seasons with alot more transactions than we have seen here. and we can't be the oldest and longest-running sim league in history, so we probably would have heard about it previously.

FBB sucks. I'm sorry, but it's a hacked piece of crap code. And, all of the download links for FBB (i.e. the save converter) are down, as is the forum (the old forum that you could search for other people that have had the problem, not the forum from the old game) as fbbgames.com is down.
whoopy.
Maybe this is the kick in the butt I need to work on my online version of the game.
