Ok, I have struggled with this decision since sim 3 or 4.  He is a double-double machine, but plays awful defense.  I have the cash to extend him.

Would you, or wouldn't you?

what for. to spend another season in mediocrity, not good enough to win, not bad enough to lose ?
IMO he's exactly that type of player.

Nice role player ... but you don't extend nice role players unless you have a winning if not contending team.

Why not? A double double threat with good percentages for a cheap contract? you have no contracts that imminetly need to be bought out, and the draft picks you have barely warrent spending the cash to view potentials when they are not likely top 10 picks.

I would for sure extend him...hes either a starter on a team that can challenge for the last couple playoff spots or a key backup on a team that could contend.
