Pretty quiet trade deadline, and a pretty sh!tty sim for the Nets at 1-3. Without MJ and Mags, we got crushed by the Pacers; without Mags, we got handled by the Lakers; and with our full lineup got absolutely mauled by the Hornets: one guy scored in double digits for me and he got 10  Alcoholic. The most thorough thrashing I've ever seen given to one my teams I think - it was embarassing.

Still, we're home and cooled in the division (we'd have to go 0-8 and the Knicks 6-0 to lose the division title), so that's a happy accomplishment for a brand new team, though sims like this remind me of how far the team has to go.

Hanging around enough to make the last sim at least interesting.  6-3 sim.

Dr.J is like a stallion. And I finally know how to tame this stubborn horse.

Btw, Rod Stricland went down. And he is not the only one that went down, my TO also went down.

Well, I'm back. Some unfortunate personal developments have seen me move back to my parent's home temporarily, but long enough that I should have a computer of my own by the time I leave again, and thus should not miss anymore SSBA time.

My team has held strong during my absence, which is both nice and a little surprising. I really thought the Kersey injury was going to ruin our playoff chances for the year but as it turns out with one sim to go we are in a rather surprising battle for the 5th spot in the Conference, with a current 1 game lead with 2 games in hand. I think everyone wants the Cavs instead of the Pacers, Nets or Hornets, but the Cavs have the same feel as the real-NBA Magic did this year - and we all saw how that worked out for my Raptors.

We've been playing some great defensive ball, some of the best in the league. Unfortunately, we can't seem to get completely gelled on the other end of the court. Kite has been exactly what was expected putting up about 7/11 in recent play. Willis was an unexpected player of the week in week 20 and could get some considerating for PF on one of the all-league teams. Buck continues to shoot unreal and has been the most consistent Raptor this season. Pressey has been good although his turnovers are becoming a bit of a concern. Kersey recently came back in and averaged 12.3 assists in his first 3 games back.

All and all we are really looking forward to sim 12 and 8 games -5 on the road - as a chance to prove our playoff worth.

back too.

well, handed over the team to the young guys mostly for sim 11 and the results were expectable. They are not ready.
While losing by one in Memphis is encouraging, and beating the Knicks is necessary to stay alive in the playoff race, the rest was a wash. But this team needs a couple more seasons, so much i knew before.

So let's win the 2 games necessary to keep #8 and break the Bulls' and Pistons' collective hearts ...
 Cheers

Im back, but nothing good. Went 1-3, we had 2 injury's this season, Zeke's and Jerome's, our 2 most important players, we still have slim chance of making POs, but i highly doubt we will. Too bad. We've done so well, but that 2-7 Zekeless sim at home was crucial. Hopefully next season will be better.
