Hey guys,

So I'm at a position now with my broken laptop unusable, I no longer have permanent access to a computer and the internet for now. I'll be purchasing a new one when I save up the money, but of course with my income and expenses, that could be a while.

I really don't want to step down, but I could be a month or two with the ability to sign on only two or three times during those months. If this is going to hold back the league, I will step down.

I guess I'll wait to hear some feedback before I decide what to do, or it can be decided for me...whatever is in the best interest of SSBA.

I guess we can grant you the "Veteran exception" on this one.

It's not like the Dinosaurs are going anywhere, so take you time.

btw, at the local retailer Vista-notebooks (ASUS, etc.) go for as low as ?400 currently. And they perform twice of what my (high-profile) business notebook can do. (But of course, that's nearly $700 nowadays ...)
 Cheers

well you are one of the oldest gm here. i am sure no one has any problem with you taking some time off. Just request a vaction till you can be regular online again. i will keep your DC the same till you come back. if you wish send me some generell instructions for FA and draft and i will take care. maybe bods has some time too to help me with your team management.

Thanks alot guys, and thanks about DJSL too Tom.

I'm going to try to get to some sort of internet cafe or to my parents' place hopefully a few times a month. If I can do that, I should be able to have some sort of barebones plan for FA and the draft.

we've had 3 teams open for months.  There's no reason for someone to quit just so "someone else can take it", when in reality, you quitting isn't going to get anyone to take the team anyway.

Deal with your financial issues, get internet back, the raptors will still be here waiting for you. The only decision really is you, whether you want the Raptors to be CPU run, or whether you think you can check in once a week to make the NECESSARY moves (draft, fa, resignings).
