Here are the eligible guys for both drafts (1990/1991 and 1992/1993). IMO we have enough good players (particularly in 1992/1993) to have viable draft classes: 1990: Mohmoud Abdul-Rauf Dennis Scott Felton Spencer lionel simmons bo kimble willie burton rumeal robinson tyrone hill alec kessler loy vaught travis mays dave jamerson terry mills duane causwell dee brown gerald glass jayson williams tate george anthony bonner dwayne schintzius alaa abdelnaby lance blanks toni kukoc AJ English jud buechler bimbo coles Antonio Davis Cedric Ceballos
1991: Larry Johnson Kenny Anderson Billy Owens Doug Smith Luc Longley Mark Macon Stacey Augmon Bison Dele Terrell Brandon Greg Anthony Rich King Anthony Avent Chris Gatling Victor Alexander Kevin Brooks LaBradford Smith John Turner Eric Murdock LeRon Ellis Stanley Roberts Rick Fox Mark Randall Pete Chilcutt
1992: Christian Laettner LaPhonso Ellis Tom Gugliotta Walt Williams Todd Day Clarence Weatherspoon Harold Miner Bryant Stith Malik Sealy Anthony Peeler Randy Woods Tracy Murray Don MacLean Hubert Davis Jon Barry Lee Mayberry Latrell Sprewell Elmore Spencer Dave Johnson Byron Houston PJ Brown Matt Geiger
1993: Anfernee Hardaway Jamal Mashburn isaiah rider calbert cheaney bobby hurley vin baker George Lynch Terry Dehere Scott Haskin Doug Edwards Rex Walters Greg Graham Luther Wright Acie Earl Scott Burrell James Robinson Chris Mills Ervin Johnson Geert Hammink Malcolm Mackey Nick Van Exel Byron Russell

Larry Johnson one year, Jamal Mashburn, Anfernee Hardaway, Clarence Weatherspoon and Vin Baker the next. Remember, we're basing these off of their rookie years. The fact that Mashburn and Penny had huge injury issues (and Vin Baker other issues) doesn't effect tehir level of prospect.

I agree, Grant Hill should be there as he was not originally in the league...

If you exclude a player that was a top tier guy, couldn't you just add one in under a different name? Not sure if that's even possible, but, like the other guys mentioned I am leery of hurting the top talent in this year's draft. Why? I have the 2nd worst record in the league and therefore I will have a top 5 pick. So, if you go about removing the best players in the game you hurt my ability to rebuild. And with the boatload of crap that's on my team, I'm really counting on there being a franchise player available for me.
To me, maybe not to you, that is far more important than if a guy shares a name with a player that used to be in the league. So, my proposal is to change the names of the players if you must, but, leave the stats alone.
