with dwight back my team took care of buisness with a 6-1 sim. shultz has to pick up his game since hopson is outplaying him at both sides of the court of the bench. only better passing is the reason why shultz will get another chance. stan showed his pot of a great defender and rebounder against hakeem.

Ok.. I still haven't find the right combination with my fourth DC.

I will prolly let Strickland have his shot again at the starting PG position. I still got faith in him, even after a bysmal performance.

Then I might let Petrovic bomb away from the outside. With his potential and FG%, I hope he can discover the scorer in him.

Wooten and Malone, would still get their scoring inside, UFC style.

After a 10 blocks game performance, im glad to see Munson being named the player of the week. It's been quite a while since I have a player given that award.

And I can't wait for the most overrated franchise player of this league to come out of injury. (hint: he's still 14 days away from playing)

Hersey Hawkins is a beast...

40.6 MPG (League Leader)
25.1 PPG (SSBA Rank - 10th)
5.7 RPG
4.4 APG
2.2 SPG
.477 FG%
.864 FT%
.468 3pt%
7.3 3pt attempts (League Leader)

Rookie of the Month Award

(it's going to be a two-man race for ROY between Hawkins and Richmond ... should be fun to watch)

good end to the 2nd sim, hopefully that success will carry on for the season. Hakeem and Rik Smits are really doing some damage on the interior.

It was not a good sim without Wilkins in the lineup. There's a tough stretch of games in the next sim, and he's out 12 more days. Bummer.

you talk of bad sims.

Celtics went 3-6 with the same lineup as before, but of course the competition was stiffer. Road losses to the Warriors (in OT) and Nuggets (blowout) as well as home defeats from the (complete) Pacers (which sucks after Wu fouled out Dwight in 24 minutes), Blazers (by 1 pt), Raps (?) and Magic (???). Ouch ...

Maybe, just maybe i should think about aquiring a #1 go-to scorer.

but it's not all bad, I never had such a great rebounding team (+7 diff), and bench play still keeps me winning against most opponents I should beat. But we're far from a contender right now, so much is clear ...

3-3, underwhelming result, played pretty inconsistently and on the wrong side of two blowouts. More DC mucking around seems to be in order.

Manning and Jordan were a little better, Pryz and Mags not as good. Aguire has been superb off the bench, currently shooting .625. Loving how Manning is keeping the TO's down. MRob is going to make a nice additon off the bench when he gets here next weekend.

The Magic are Giant-Killers; they beat us (albeit in their own building).

We went 6-2, 5-1 without Borgmann which is nice. Got some big contributions from Bailey in his absence. And, of course, we have POTM Mike Evans running the show.

Stats from this sim:

Tyler - 9.0/11.6/2.3/0.8/1.8
Bailey - 10.0/12.8/2.6/1.5/2.5
Collins - 24.9/5.5/2,8/1.8
Magic - 23.4/8.0/5.9/1.3/3.0to
Evans - 22.9/4.8/11.5/1.3/4.0to
Borgmann - 13.0/9.0/1.0/2.0/4.0

Guess the top number of lottery balls is not a given anymore ...

Jerome and Zeke continued with impressive perfomances. But this team lacks serious discipline when it matters in last few minutes of the game.

6 losses so far.... 2pts against Mavs and Hawks, by 3pts against Suns and Bucks, by 5pts against Bulls and a 12pt loss to Detroit. Now that worries me that we cant close the game when it matters, lots of close games that we lost.

And worst of all is that all 6 losses came against teams with below 50 % win rating, but we manage to beat Celtics, Warriors, Raps. I dont get it.

Against Bulls both C's Profit and Elie managed to collect 6 PF in less then 19 minutes. Idiots.

I'm not really understanding my team... I guess we're just streaky-ish..
Began the season losing 2
Won 2
Lost 5
Won 5
Lost 3

Newcomb is amazing but it seems like I need some more supporting players.
