Solid sim at 4-2, with DM and MJ in the lineup together for the first time. Tough one-pt loss to the Pacers in the season opener, and then to the C's later on (with Rick Mahorn turning into Superman yet again), then nice road wins in GS and SA. Had some very solid defensive efforts with periods of smothering.
Danny had a round start shooting the ball, but an excellent job (thanfully) of controlling it. JP had a very solid sim - doing all the things I like big guys to do at good rates and on percentages. Mags was very good as a non-option. Aguire had a nice and efficient sim as a scorer off the bench.
Pretty good.

Good 4-3 sim. Our offense was brutal (2nd), and if i exclude Rodman who shot .372 but had amazing 12rpg our team shot over 50 %. Still we need to work on FT and 3PT shooting as well defense.
Zeke continues to lower his topg but shooting FT was a disaster, we need to improve that ASAP.
And Jerome continues to impress, 20.6ppg 7.4rpg 3.1apg 1.9topg on 52 %FG, 86%FT and nearly 60 % from 3pt line. Amazing.
3 guys scoring over 20ppg (Jerome, Zeke and O'Neill, i can just imagine if Hakeem was still here, this would be a championship team for sure, but our centers sucked, they cant rebound, block, do shit except on offense (Profit 51 %, Elie 59 % FG).
And well losing games were still pretty close, only Pistons beat us in Detroit by more then 10 (12), while we lost in Phoenix by 3pts and Mavs by 2pts so i guess with little luck and little bit better FT shooting we couldve gone 5-1 or something. If Hakeem was here it wouldve been a 5-1 or 6-0 sim, our frontcourt problem is pretty big for now.

Can't do better than undefeated. 7 of my 9 games were at home though, so I take it FWIW. Nique got injured, and is out 22 more days. When he's out, Macy and Stockton really suffer (big drops in shooting %); he seems to have good chemistry with them. Johnson is solid though, so hopefully he can hold down the fort until Nique returns.

Surprising 7-2 sim for my Celtics. Surprising because - it was a total team effort - nobody on my team scores better than 16.9ppg - and still we rank #3 in offensive output, #2 in point differential at +14ppg (despite losing twice) Cory Kidd made a great starting PG, considering his ratings. Good A/TO ratio, steals are there and 2 blocks per game from my backcourt is simply great. But there is one clear MVP: EDDIE UNER. I have no idea why the Suns cut him, but I'm happy I was there at the right time for once. (Sure, count me among those who didn't even offer for him in FA after his ratings took such a freefall, but preseason did show he can still play. And boy, 12ppg and 2 steals per on 56% shooting in BACKUP minutes, that's awesome !!!)

Excellent 8-1 start, despite only shooting 44.7%. We are outscoring our opponents by 9 and our defense is superb.
Mike Evans starts the season with MVP aspirations? Rediculous numbers despite a bad TC.

You still won the game. Phil Hubbard is leading the league in scoring but he took too many shots at 26 a game.

Wow, Hersey Hawkins playing very well - dropping 28 points a night.
Majerle also adding 15 is good news too.
3-3 record is more than I could have imagined....but I doubt it will last long.

right now my picks this coming draft (Mavs) and next (Hawks) are #10 and #1, so it could be a lot worse. but of course not only it won't stay that way, as the Mavs will play two thirds of the season with a completely different team, so who knows ... just for now they've lost to some pretty average teams (Kings, Wiz, depleted Pacers)

even more amazing is the 4 teams they've held below 34% shooting in 9 games. League-leading opp fg% (tho Nuggets are close behind) and just one team shooting 50% against them (Sonics). they won't lose many games this year if they keep it up. (btw, i'm happy my Celtics held them to a season-low 41% shooting in a relatively close loss in N'awlins)
