Oh my. Not only Hakeem, but MJ too. And Sir Charles. And Newcomb. This may be the best accumulation of young superstars I've ever seen in one free agency.

Brice retiring gives me more flexibilty, but now I have absolutely nothing at PG.  and I'm not sure there's a whole lot in FA that I can get for my MLE.  It may be time to blow this thing up.

It's a good point - it is a pretty thin class after the big guys - some useful role players, but not a tone of free talents. There are only six teams by my count atm with max cap space, so the competition for the middle tier guys will be equally as steep as it is for the top end guys.

And some big retirements for sure, which will significantly impact the records of some teams.

I think I have a good solution for this..

How about, let's start the bidding, alphabetically. For example, 76ers can only bid at day 1. Very Happy

Thats would ease up your work load. Very Happy

interesting.

Quincy Peters didn't retire yet again, but at least he's a big expiring with very good scoring punch now.

btw, not sure the Pacers are happy about Dwight who takes up a third of their cap space and has declined to a good PF last season. And since they lost two vital backups I guess theywill be hard pressed to duplicate last season's success.

Like I said, the Pacers having cap could have changed the whole FA landscape - I for one am happy that Schultz and Dwight are giving it another go: with his win percentage, he would have had the hammer during the MJ/Hakeem/Sir Charles sweepstakes over any of the rest of us. And one of us worked feverishly at the last minute to get into it  Laughing
