I would like a league examination of my two games with the mavericks this sim, and expect some heavy penalties to be levied upon them.

First, they injure my starting PF (Tyson Thurmond) within 5 minutes of the game (and he was starting since my true starting PF, Rodney McCray, was injured the previous game)
Next game, a viscious hit on my star, Vern Fleming, and he is out.

Dirty, dirty play...  Shame on that squad!!!!!   Moon

Again, lot's of injuries this sim, so I still cannot see how the new-look team is doing.

If you cannot beat them, then injury them. Lol 2  I was so happy that we finally beat you guys to end our 6 games losing streak against you but don't know that Thurmond was out for game one.  Sorry for hurting your star Fleming in game two, Vince Keogan will be fined $500,000 for that flagrant foul.

bleh.  3-7 sim.  brice went down.  He seems to be as important as anyone on the team, because we always stink when he's out of the lineup.

Now 18-3 since the day 51 trades... It's funny, the last three seasons the Pacers and I heat up at the same time and he ends up winning the division. Well, it's not so much funny as it is annoying... Laughing
Annoying for me too, since my team  tends to do the polar opposite: come out of the gates on fire, then slow down....

And Tom, on about Natt again? *rolls eyes* Especially after your thugs knocked him out of action on day 76?  Mad He's been fine. He's about the fifth option on my team, and we keep winning, which is what I care most about.

In any event, Natt's injury is a little bump in the Nets road, but we managed OK without him going 5-2 - and will have to continue to for the next 35 days. Better set up my DC to get a little synergy going into the playoffs and plan to bring him off the bench later.

memo to self: check the COMPLETE sim before commenting. Wasn't even recognising our 37pt embarrassment at the hands of the Nets then ...

By the way, seems your math is right up there with your team building skills...

Almost perfect sim despite minor injury's. From the bottom we've came to the top of West. I like it. Zeke is playing amazingly lately, Kersey is OTW, Mike doing defensive stuff, Hakeem is the dream. Hopefully we'll continue this way, this team is ready for big teams again (finally).........

Some observations:

...

@ Rockets
Easily have replaced the Sonics as the fun-team of SBBA. High scoring, little defense, and surprisingly a good number of wins. They may not have a great future, but they sure enjoy the present ...

No future?

Polynice has good potential...
Tarpley has excellent potential...
Fortson has good potential...
Muggsy has excellent potential...
Coles is only 27...
3 first rounders this year...
Huge cap space in 2 years...

...stop hating coz I won't trade you Shane Wedge...  Lol 2

I think if a poll were to be done with the GMs in the know, the vast majority would rather be in my shoes than yours right now, and remember, we've both been here a long time, where our teams are is where we led them.

Count me among those who'd take your team in a hurry. Man, I'd LOVE to compete for a championship again. And that's the only thing I critizise (no matter if i'm entitled to do so): that the Raptors are underachieving big time. That this team should battle the Pacers and Nets and Hornets for playoff seeding, not the Celtics and Hawks.

But of course you're right, who am I to talk shit. I did lead my team into nowhere land (pretending I had a shot at playing for the title until last season) and I do have to face the consequences of my mismanagement. And for a change I will try to be patient and do a rebuilding that hopefully will take me back to the playoffs in a few seasons. Nothing more I play for currently ...

You were simply unstoppable BEFORE you got Natt, killing teams by double digits ... and you're doing good since. There's a dropoff in how you win games, and as you said, he's moved down to #5 options for you.

and that's all I said before: I believe you got worse in this trade and gave up some nice talent in Curry.

But that doesn't take from the fact your nets still rule and might go all the way ...
