Sorry guys... I actually have no more time since I have a gigantic load of midterms coming up next week with four major tests plus i get home at 7 everyday and I am so tired I fall asleep by 10 through all of the activity and tiredness... I am really sorry but I cant have a team and not be active because that makes it boring for the rest of the league... if i have more time, I will try to come back...

Truth is it doesn't take too long to grossly overpay two guys, then close the door.

Nice...kill a team that is already dead by signing two awful contracts, then bolt after hearing a bit of criticism.

Where's Ivan??????

The Scott signing isn't bad.

But the Bailey signing sure is awful  Very Happy

I'd say the opposite -- they're both bad, but the Scott signing is really bad... the Bailey signing I could live with. The idea of paying a 31 year old Byron Scott $19.162.500 is nauseating. Hopefully someone will buy it out so none of us have to experience seeing that. Smile

I highly doubt he will have started his decline at 30 years of age (I say 30 because you are implying his ratings will be average at 31).

His ratings are average right now....

Yes, he has A-rated defense, but so did Michael Schader, and see how many teams traded that guy (and he was only paid $8 million a year)

yeah, what the Sonics said. I'm pretty sure he'll always be average too, even when he's paid $19 mil/year.

Thurl at least can block a few shots and almost averaged 10/10 last season.

for the record Schader is currently 29 and a BB+ offensive player and A defender.

I'd pay 8 for that any day for a team already over the cap.

But you wouldn't pay $19 million.  Schader has value, and I think Scott has less value than him.  I think a nice 4 year deal starting at 5 or 6 million fits what Byron Scott would give you...not a deal that finishes at almost 20 million.

at least he has enough character in him to quickly call it a day ... and not silently vanish forever.

As for the signings, I've seen a lot of worse contracts handed to worse players.
Man, i'd love to take care of that "problem"
