Nets accept for a bunch of reasons.
1) I like Damp - I think he's better than his ratings.
2) As we all know, Bennett Fuqua has been the target of my largest sim-man-crush ever - moreso than even Hoffa.
3) The pick will be handy, I'm gonna need some chips to play around this time next year.
4) I needed depth - this helps.
5) One measly second round pick is not enough off-season activity for my liking.
6) I get about 1mil breathing room from the hard cap, so can maybe sign another longshot FA and take another crack at striking gold - which I haven't for awhile.
Thanks, Nuggs. Been awhile since we hooked up on one - enjoy Cliffy.
7) I like Bailey at the 4 better.

BTW, what is the verdict going to be on the matter of Damps three-year deal being signed when Nick/Nuggs had changed it to one?

Not the end of the world, but I'd prefer the one-year deal myself.....

last time i checked it was a 3 year deal. after fa day 1 is done now i can't check if he reduced the years. if i made a mistake here i can't reduce the years anymore because the length of the contract was certainly a factor in the decision to sign with the nuggets.

What I was asking, was when was the last time you checked? Because 9pm EST I changed it, and it was no later than that because I went to bed right after lol
