well, I didn't get #1 on my list, but with the 4th and 10th selection I got my #2 and #3, so that's not too bad.

did I grossly overpay with $200 for the rights to draft Shirley?
you bet I did, but being in cap hell what options did I have left? I can't sign anybody, all (big) contracts I could (possibly) trade are my starters, and my reserves hardly get me below to sign a min FA. So this was really all I had to sign someone, and for that I would pay $200 again.

will any of them play a role in my rotation?

seriously though, I like my acquisition of cooper. there are other players that are better than cooper, rating-wise, but I think the A potential he has now is hard to pass up.
