3-0. Hasn't really been close yet.
Kyle Macy is playing out of his mind with 40 ppg. Hail

And you wish you have this guy on your team.. That might have made the series close..

Disappointing end to the Celtics season.

somehow we were up 2-1 and managed to shoot 39%, 34%, and 39% in the remaining games (after shooting 44%, 42%, and 46% in the first 3 games with the same settings). You won't win a lot that way and we didn't.

What's especially bugging me is that
- we came within a point of being up 3-1 (though i doubt it would have changed the outcome but you never know)
- Sidney let me down big time against someone called Greiner.
- And after failing to shoot 50% against Maxi in any of the first 5 games Brice explodes for 25/4/13 on 11-14 shooting (!!) in the decisive game 6. Some stuff is hard to explain ...
Sad

On a positive note, we did what we could. Nobody could stop, contain, or even slow down Sampson on a regular basis. I'm simply not built for that challenge. Rick Mahorn with 16/14/3blk in the final 3 games did what i expected from him. Heck, I might have lost 0-4 with Wedge.

Good luck against the Hornets, Bods, let's see who of you has the honor to end the Pacers title dreams.

don'T worry todd, if feel like i'm the lousiest GM here by a landslide.

year after year my team has a decent season, only to fail in the playoffs. Over the past 8 seasons i was 2nd seed three times, the 4th seed twice and an 8th seed. 2 first round exits and 5 second round failures, that's what's my record (at least you got to the CF twice).

well after round 1 i am defintly not dreaming of a title. instead i have a lot to worry about the play of shultz and dwight both held under season avg.
bucks are already a tough matchup but at least i match up well against their guard attack.
hornets pistons should be a great series. hope sampson is ready for his former team Laughing

I'm shocked I won 2 games let alone the series.  Not a single game among the 6 were within 10 points.

I shifted my lineup a bit against the Nets, but it was more to get the turnover machine Gragg at 2 and start a real 1 in Marquez, relegating Harris to the bench.  And I moved Mehta to 4 just to be bigger up front by starting Lanier, something I didn't do all year.  I guess the moves worked out great (though of course Milner and Tobey still got theirs).

Mehta and Milner both had triple doubles in Game 5.  Mehta 15/14/13 blocks.

Good series Nets.

Well after being blown out in game 3, we came back and beat them by 20 and 15 in games 4 and 5 to take the series. Happy with the way we bounced back from that loss, winning by 20 on the road. We have a much tougher opponent coming up in the Spurs, this should be one heck of a series. To win, we will need Magic to be able to shoot much better than the 39% he shot in round 1. We will need the regular season version of Evans as well.

Hornets-Pistons should be a battle. This should be the start of Manute Bol proving himself to be a smart move or not.

Stats from round 1:

Kleine - 7.6/7.0/1.4/0.6/1.2
Borgmann - 9.4/10.2/2.2/1.0/2.6
Collins - 24.2/5.6/1.2/2.6 (shot 51.7%)
Magic - 21.2/8.6/5.2/2.4
Evans - 16.7/5.7/7.7/3.7/1.0 (54%)
Zollner - 8.8/6.4/0.8/0.4/2.4
Fuqua - 3.6/3.6
Dampier - 8.0/2.2/7.2/1.6

Yup, this should be interesting. Sampson definitely got his during the regular season. It'll be a tough matchup for Stockton as well. Glad I have homecourt in this one.

Bol actually held Sampson well below his season average during the regular season, but Sampson did double bol's production.  Macy absolutely destroyed me.  Brice actually outperformed Stockton, and I think that will be the key for the series.

Bods, how in the world could you win our series with that ease ? I'm really mad at you, especially after it would have been my first ever try to beat the Hornets with homecourt advantage (i fighted for all season).

I honestly have no idea.  I didn't make any chances for the second sim.  I just got stops and cleaned up on the glass.

Ah well, mark it up to playoff experience -- you've done a great job in getting an historically mediocre (to say the least) team to the playoffs two years in a row.
