Pretty good first trade for the Wiz, imo.

I hesitated just because I was really looking forward to using my lottery pick, but my team really isn't that young or far away.

Good trade, Sixers.

This trade helps both sides,

McDaniel is a promising player. And his ratings speaks for itself. But, I got enough wingmen with Dr.J and Harper at the SG/SF position. And playing one of them at the PG seems not a good idea because of their poor ball handling skills. So, Im taking my chances with the lotto pick and hopefully it could land me a Center or a PG.

For the Wizards, they acquire on a "sure" prospect in McDaniel. A player that needs no scouting whether he is a bust or not after TC. His ratings is as good as a top 10 lotto pick player, which I project where the pick shall land.

I have a history of trading draft prospects for Wiz's proven players such as the Edgar Barner for George Johnson trade. I think its time that I trade proven players for Wiz's draft prospect.

Good trade Wizards. And Goodluck for the both of our teams.

...

The only "sure" thing with McDaniel is that he'll turn the ball over 4 times a game on average. And at SF where ballhandling isn't a must. So i have no idea where you see a "proven player", Xavier is pretty much the exact opposite. Yikes.

In two TC's he has improved 1 (ONE!) net rating so far. Which is about in line with what the Nuggets posted about his potential after drafting him.
