Busy sim for us, went 7-3. Wins vs HOU, MEM, PORT x2, TOR & DAL, losses to DAL, MIL & MIA. The important thing is we came out without any injuries. I would be very content riding into the postseason winning 70% of my remaining games and not receiving injuries. That said, who wouldnt be thrilled with an 80+% win% right now Smile

Very nice to take home both POW awards (Evans and Magic) and Evans took home POM as well - possibly an outside chance at MVP if we stay in 1st.

Stats from the last 10:

C: Kleine - 8.4/8.4/1.6/1.4/1.2

PF: Borgmann - 10.4/8.4/1.4/0.6/2.0

SF: Collins - 20.6/5.7/1.0/1.0, only 1.6to as 1st option

SG: Magic - 21.1/8.0/4.9/3.4 and likely a career-low 1.6to

PG: Evans - 24.1/6.0/9.2/2.7, 3.0to

subs:
Okoren - 6.5/4.2/2.2/1.2
Fuqua - 7.1/7.7
Zollner - 4.9/5.8/0.6/1.1/1.4

5-5 sim for the Raptors (during a KILLER stretch of 20 GAMES IN 20 DAYS...holy crap). Slowed the pace waaay down to very slow and the results were not bad at all. Just 3.5 games out of the plalyoffs now....thinks have really picked up without Ransey, I'm slowly starting to change my mind about him.

Scored 92.2ppg and gave up a very nice, very low 91.2 (current best for the season is 93.6).

Willis @ C - 37mpg, 17.8ppg, 12.3rpg, 2.9apg, 0.4spg, 1.6topg, 0.8bpg

--These numbers over a legit 10 game span from a 22 year old is nothing to complain about. Save to say Willis enjoys the slower pace...he played a full quarter of a game more this sim than last sim, and his numbers are very, very nice.

Buck @ PF - 37.6mpg, 24.2ppg, 16.1rpg, 2.0apg, 0.6spg, 2.3topg, 2.5bpg

--Over a span of 82 games these are MVP numbers...not used to getting 2.5 blocks from Buck but hey, I'll take it over his usual 1. The fact that my starting frontcourt just averaged 28.4rpg over a 10 game span makes the blood rush to my head.

Sanders @ SF - 36.4mpg, 8.5ppg, 4.2rpg, 1.9apg, 1.4spg, 1topg, 0.6bpg

--He's doing a fine job of being a interim starter until I can get that starting PG and move Chuck back to the 3. He'll continue to start for the next few sims, and then I may give Pryz a chance to come back into the starting lineup with Buck at the 3 and Willis at the 4.

Schader @ SG - 37.8mpg, 8.9ppg, 3.9rpg, 4.9apg, 2.4spg, 3.9topg, 0.6bpg

--Well the fact that he is turning the ball over 4 times a game makes me want to kill myself, but his a:to was actually better this sim at 4.9:3.9 than over the season at 2.8:2.6. These all around numbers are real nice from Schader.

Chuck @ PG - 36.1mpg, 19.9ppg, 5.8rpg, 8.4apg, 1.4spg, 3.5topg, 0bpg

--Nice to see those turnovers come down. Scoring took a small hit with the slower pace but not enough to scare me away. In 48 games he has 13 double doubles whilst playing the majority of his games at PG. Grrrrrrrreat! He only played 8 games this sim due to a jammed finger and will miss another game next sim.

Gola @ PG (2 games) - 39mpg, 8ppg, 6.5rpg, 9apg, 3spg, 6.5topg, obpg

--Haha well all those numbers look good except for the *slightly* high turnover number...thank god he only has to start one more game

A very small sample size with my new lienup, but a very nce 3-0 sim.

Barton loves being numero uno...
28 ppg, 11.3 apg, with 49% from the field and 53% from 3.

George Johnson enjoys his new squad it appears...
22 ppg, 6 rpg, on 51% and 46% shooting...

And Darren Rice is enjoying his new 3rd option role qite a bit, with his best sim ever.
18 ppg, 4 rpg, 4.3 spg, on 53% and 67% shooting.

And Xavier played very well, backing up George...
15 mpg, 9.7 ppg, 5 rpg, and only 0.7 top.  Very impressive numbers for his limited minutes.

Reason #5,435,821 to NOT listen to Tom:

9-0 record this sim.

Cliff starting at PF.

That's a pretty cool little fact - and Bods with about 93% of the credit. With a home and home against the Cavs at the beginning of the next sim, they might become the answer to an interesting SSBA trivia question.

The 9-0 is about as surprising to me as Hornet's sim was to him. It was a relatively light schedule - but there were big wins against the Pacers and Hornets sprinkled in there, plus a good win against the Jazz - and we endured an injury to Palacio unscathed. The win streak followed our first > 2 day break, so the rest proved helpful  - and over the next two sims, we only play 7 games in total which should be equally good for Tobey and Milner's older legs.

Team play was very good. Dudley Bradley, despite pedestrian scoring ratings, loves the new lineup - much more of a plus player (which I'm loving because it keeps Curry/Walker out of the pressure cooker and Palacio on the bench). Strange how much his D picks up when he's beside Tobey - held his man to .360 shooting this sim. Tobey and Milner played liked MVP candidates this sim: Tobey put up 33.3/10.5, Milner 17.3/12 with a 6.4 a:to ratio. Love Fleischer - but hes a bit of a chucker. Palacio is filling the uber-sub role even better than I hoped: 10.8ppg and a 5.0 a:to ratio in under 19mpg this sim.

do we actually know for sure if more games in more days affects teams' fatigue and play?

Anyway, at 40-18 i'm in first in the conference, though I can't imagine this keeping up.  I finally decided that if my team is the best shooting team FG% wise and a top five defensive FG% team, with point guards who turn it over nearly 5 times, it makes sense to play at a very slow pace.

Opponents' points per game dropped 3 total ppg from 101-98 overall in just this 9 game sim.
