wow, what an amazing game against the Hornets on day 12.

Not only did we prevail 114-101, but furthermore the Celtics totalled 3 personal fouls for the whole game and thus held Macy, Nique and Stockton to ZERO foul shots (and the foul against Parker Calinoff was a questionable reach-in rookie call)
 Bounce

Overall a 5-1 sim playing mostly at home ... and still not too overwhelming.

More later ...

This was a good sim for my team where most games were close and we were able to finish them. Lincoln Lord is playing like an all-star and now I have no doubt he deserves the starting pg spot and #1 option on my team. I am disappointed with Chris Cho's shooting percentage and have decided its best to remove him as a scoring option. Michael Brooks has been shooting well so I hope that he will continue to be efficient as I make him an option.

My 2 day 6 fa signings (Jesus Risen and Josue Bellamy) have played well and will continue to get minutes. I expected that the trade of Paul Maggette would hurt my team but it doesn't look like we miss him much. I do wish I had more playing time for newly aquired Harley Khoury but with Lord playing so well, the most he will end up playing is 10 mpg.

I think the problem with my team is that I have no depth at SG, SF, and PF. If only I could trade some of my pf/C depth...

Its also nice to see the Jazz struggle, as I have their 1rst round pick.

Disastrous sim for the Rockets going 2 - 6

I have really shaken things up for the next sim and moved Charls Oakley to SF where his ratings improve to B+ inside A- defense A- rebounding! let's see what happens!

Both Nets and Nuggs are happy with good sims (though the Nets did not play the elite teams at all), with details to follow.

and only rightfully so.

1-8 for a proclaimed title favourite. Yikes ...

(even if YOU didn't proclaim)

Munson was down for most of the sim, but still.  to go from 7-2 to 1-8 is a little, er...baffling.

I'll probably go one more sim with an inside focus, but I can't see myself sticking with it any longer than that.  My offense really struggled this sim.  Inside focus does great for Sampson, not so much for Brice and Blackman.

Well, Sampson did average 31.3 ppg, 16 rpg, 3.1 apg and shot 45% from the field.
Munson averaged 5.4 bpg in the 3 games he did play.

The road heavy schedule (6 road games, 3 home games) plus the injury to Munson partially explains the disastrous sim, but the team as a whole didn't play well.

Like I said, I'm going to give inside focus one more sim just to get a decent sample size, but I'm likely going to change the focus after that regardless of the outcome.

Well, pretty happy with that sim, having gone 5-2...
Don Collins has recovered and is back to shooting very good percentages.
Barton is playing like Barton, 22 pg, with a 5.7:1 assist:to ratio, and also gitting 50% from the field.
Bennett is scoring alot of points, but his low percantage is holding him back.

Warriors are playing no-mistake basketball.  Tops in the league in TOPG (11.2), and OSPG (7.2).  Also currently 5th in OFG%.

You played me twice at home and beat me both times, and the Bucks have a Top 5 record, punk Very Happy

Without those two games I'd be 12-4, which would be the 2nd best record in the league
