glad to have traded my pick. Joseph Hughes was the only guy that interested me out of the 2nd round.

Out of the players in this batch, IMO, Billy Thompson is the only player who is 1st rounder material. The reason why I picked Joseph Hugher over Thompson is Im intrigued over his 317 lbs frame and A potential. I think im at the point in my team rebuilding process where I took risk on player's potential over their ability to contribute right away.

Anyway, I'd say that Celtics got a "semi-steal" there with Thompson..  Thumbs Up

not sure about "right away contribution", since at 6'7" 195lbs (!!!) he's probably closer to a big SG than a PF.
And while he was a nice role player with 10ppg, 7rpg, and 1.5bpg he got there in his 3rd season only, so I'm not sure the ratings will reflect that.

but of course, the comparison with Diaw - according to basketballreference - was intriguing ...

Hahaha! The reason why i said that he have the ability to contribute right away, is because if he was on my team, he'd easily be one of my best sf/pf team in the team. I'd like to look at him as a potential "benett fuqua" type player. I also thought that he'd be more suitable at the SF position. Although he needs more polishing at his handling skills.

Again, nice pick. Very Happy

Love the Billy Thompson pick...
Of the potential holds true, he could be a very nice role player off the bench...

You scout second round pick?  That to me is kind of waste of money.

possibly.

But I did it too (for a #2 selection, in fact #1 after the Sixers declared themselves early) and it saved me from doing something very very stupid.

Word of advise..

Don't trust too much on true potential.

 Thumbs Up

Word of experience ...

Trust it when there's NO potential.
 Cheers
