Ouch.  Lost both games 5 and 7 by 1 point each.  Hard way to lose to the #1 team in the east.

as Celtics alluded to, I made some lineup changes that almost paid off.  LeBron was giving barkley fits defensively.  I also wanted Manute on Bol.  So I moved Barkley to C, and he had a very good sim (20.3 ppg and 11 rpg in last 4).  I also made Brice my top option, and he had a field day against Butler.

In retrospect, it probably would have been better to put Gerstl on LeBron.  I didn't expect LeBron to become a factor offensively, and it burned me.  I thought Semjonova's inside game could give LeBron some trouble defensively, and at times it did (16 pts in game 4, 17 in game 6), but he was too inconsistent for it to be of any real value (8 pts in game 5, 9 in game 7).

hey I know why you did it, and I did the same with Purvis and Lenard earlier. But I monitored LBJ all season and he's gotten to a point where he only starts cause Aguirre is even worse starting (but a great backup) ... unless he plays a horrible defender like Purvis ... or Semionova

Well I could just not stop Tobey. in retrospect, I should have moved Maggette to center but I thought that switching back to the same lineup that won me 20 straight games was more sensible. Congrats to the Mavs.

I was able to correctly guess and switch Mehta onto Schmaltz, and I tried to slow down Milner by switching Harris to PG since he was my best defender, but those moves only had slightly better results than part 1 of the 1st round.  I didn't have the defensive capabilities to stop all 3 of Milner/Schmaltz/Hubbard no matter what I did.

Would like to see a bit more consistency, but a win is a win.

Hopefully I can take out the Celtics' legs with early wins before Tyler gets back.

Bailey Tobey played great for us and we needed his scoring since Keogan was out.  On to play to #1 seed Warriors, always give us matchup problems.

Good series, Bucks. Game 4 in particular was a see-saw nail-biter.

Milner was the difference maker - very efficient game in and out, and has been a man possessed the past month and a bit. The decision to move Harris on him made alot of sense - but you make a good point - more attention on Richard freed up Hubbard to be a bit more effective, and Harris had played him real tough the first few of games. Funny thing is, going back to the off-season, I acquired Hubbard for guys just like Natt, though at the time he was a Hornet - and am just glad it worked out.

Overall, I was happy with how Wooten/Schmalz v. Mehta played out. Rex forced alot of shots and TO's by way of blocks, but both my bigs (well, Koncak too for a bit) played him tough and gave him a workout in their own ways. I can just picture Mehta and Schmalz going at it, they both stuffed the stat sheets - musta been pretty intense.

On to the Pacers - who are another tough matchup. Howard and Schulz have killed the Nets in the playoffs during my tenure, so I'm not looking forward to it. I would have liked to have Woot on Dwight, if only to body and hack the hell out of him for 6 fouls a game, so I'll have to give someone else some burn to give it a shot. In our last couple of matchups - which we split, Woot did a good job on Dwight, but Milner had some bad games. Should be interesting to say the least - and I think the Indy homecourt advantage will be huge.

Looking forward to a great matchup with Mavericks...
This should be a great series.
Be very interesting to see how Tobey matches up with my bigs...

This might go the distance...
