Ugh. What a disgusting, toilet water way to end a season. 2-3 sim, three losses by a total of 7 points. Not a nice way to cap off what was a promising second half of the season (28-13) - especially when a good handful of those losses were so close and the Atlantic lead was so close. The worst bit is that I have to congratulate Tom on a good season and division crown....so congrats.
Pretty satisfied with individual seasons from most of my guys....early season injuries put some guys in roles I didn't them being in, and there was an adjustment curve there. Woot was just a couple of points and reb's and % points away from giving me right what I hoped he would. Marcus gave me quite the spark off the bench, and who knows what our 1st half/injured-Milner record would have been without him - much worse than .500 I think. Johnny Contract was pretty solid. Hubbard gave me solid production and %'s. Schmalz, whose TC's suggest decline, experienced no such thing - in fact having his most efficient season as a Net in the fewest minutes. Milner was superb down the stretch.
Not looking forward to Bucks in the first round and big Rex with all his D, though based on the last NJ-MIL game, it should be fun to watch him and Schmalzy go hard at each other. The PG matchup should be a great one, as will Hubbard v. Natt. The boys will need to find a way to bone up defensively.
Good luck to you Bucks; enjoy the home-court advantage.

Ugh just so many bad things. It certainly did come down to the very last day, and not only did the Jazz beat me to tie our records and give them the tie breaker - but they injured Borgmann along the way and he is out for the first 7 days of the 1st round. To be brutally honest I will be hard pressed to win without him. I play a pretty good Spurs team with no injuries, the only positive being my home court advantage.
Magic on 2nd team, and Evans on 3rd team - my cogs certainly deserved it.

Charles Barkley with all league 2nd team, and all defensive 2nd team. Team went 4-3 to end the year, and wasn't able to catch the Hawks. I was hoping to avoid the Pacers in the first round, but oh well. Rolando seemed to return to his previous self the last 2-3 sims of the season. Now I just gotta figure out my lineup....

Surprisingly I can still win games without Tyler ... and some old stiffs or waiver pickups logging major minutes. Finished with a 4-2 sim, once again beating the Heat on the road, and losing to the Grizzlies (their 21 game win streak DID end in Boston, just not exactly how i had hoped) and Lakers. Easily held off the Nets for the Atlantic Division crown ... and that's just about what I think is the max I can achieve this season. Shane Wedge making All Defensive 1st team ... a joke, a pure joke. Celtics with 4th best record in the league, but of course no more accolades, we're used to it. Congrats to MVP Dwight. He's truly earned that one, cause the Pacers might have had a hard time making the playoffs without him. Next up: Hawks. Could get interesting without Tyler. other series:Heat vs Hornets could be ugly. Hope the Heat see that their decline began with Newton coming in (maybe a 7/4 A/TO-ratio is NOT good after all) and give day 27 a really good look ... (hint, hint) Pacers vs Pistons. Even with LBJ staring this is a wash. Bucks vs. Nets. This is what this game is all about. Could end 4-0, 0-4 or anywhere inbetween. My moneY's on the Nets who will find a way to keep the Bucks from scoring. Warriors, Grizz, Jazz and Nuggets should make it in the West.

bucks nets should be fun to watch. really hope nets will advance because bucks have played my team really well this season. not that pistons will be easy. they have almost identical team stats in all important cats. only in points scored i have a big advantage. hope i can keep that in the POs. celtics should advance over hawks, hornets as well over heat.
in the west warriors should have an easy win over kings, i agree nuggets, jazz and grizz should be favorite in their matchups as well.

I'm pretty sure it will be a 4 or 5 game, easy series for the Celts. I'm making a couple changes, but I don't like our match-ups against them. Unless we can make a few alterations to take advantage of the loss of Tyler.

Ouch, finally this ugly season is over. It was certainly a rebuilding season...no major awards at the end of the year, no playoffs, a trade I may regret (Schader for what is now the 7th pick), and an ugly 1-7 sim to finish things off...
Scored 86.1ppg and gave up 97.1. Terrible. Clearly the success I had sim 10 playing a very slow pace did not carry over to the last 2 sims...good to know.
Swift @ C = 10.3ppg, 10.1rpg, 1.4bpg
--A lovely season from the 34 year old Swift, who was exceptionally consistent as our starter after the Ransey trade. It's reassuring to know that Swift will likely be able to start and put up his consistent 9.5/9.5/1.3 next year.
Buck @ PF = 23.4ppg, 14.1rpg, 1.4spg, 1.4bpg
--A fantastic finish to the season for Buck who had to carry most of the offense this sim with Ransey out 3 and Mike out 1. I don't expect anything more out of Buck next year...if he could post 20/12/1/1 next year we will certainly not be a 31 win team.
Dailey @ SF (1 game) = 10ppg, 5rpg, 3apg, 3spg
--Dailey was incredible when starting in Mike's place...I will be looking to sign him again and hope he has a good TC.
Mike @ SF (7 games) = 16.6ppg, 8.9rpg, 0.5spg, 1.1bpg
--A positional change shows me that Mike will likely be my SF for a few years to come..depending on how the draft goes. Not a great sim statistically for Mike, but he was coming back after an injury, and certainly 17/9 is nothing to spit about. I'm excitied for Mike's future with the Raps.
Schader @ SG = 10.1ppg, 2rpg, 3apg, 3spg
--Much like Buck and Mike, Schader is a long term fixture at SG. It's great to have an inclusion in the lineup that is all about defense, as I have said before I believe a Championship team needs this. I think if Buck/Mike/Ransey are my big 3 next year, and I have Schader and my draft pick focusing on defense/rebounding/sharing the ball we could have a very good year.
Hiscock @ PG (3 games) = 5.7ppg, 3.3rpg, 7apg, 3.3spg
--He'll likely be the primary backup to Ransey again next year unless he has another tremendous TC like last year. He's a great ball stealer already, so any improvement in defense can be attributed to his man D.
Ransey @ PG (5 games) = 14.6ppg, 2.6rpg, 9.4apg, 1.8spg
--Not the sim I was hoping for from Ransey...his assists are still excellent but his scoring was way down on the very slow pace...hopefully TC will give me time to fiddle with the settings and find the best for Ransey.
Overall, I'm excitied about the future of my team. I have 3 legit options at PF/SF/PG and a long term starter at SG...and all 4 are 24,27,27 and 27 respec. I have a pick in the draft that is currently T6th...And there are about 8 guys that I see coming in and starting for me as I have alot o fflexibility in the lineup...I can draft any position as I can move my 4 starters anywhere. We'll see what happens. Good luck to the playoff teams.

5-2 finish, held on to home court. Hopefully that makes the difference against the Nets.
Mehta with his 3rd Defensive Player of the Year in a row (4 total) and 7th 1st Team All SSBA in the last 8 years (he settled for a 2nd Team one year). Was the last player of the week with a 14/16/14 block game.
I was hoping Gragg would get on a team with his 21/4/11.5 average and 46% shooting but the 5 turnovers were too much apparently.
