wow the race for MVP will be wide open this year. Howard has a small chance to get another award with currently 3 rd in scoring and reboundign and almost top 10 in blocks. Thumbs Up
man butler is possible the best shooter ever to play the PG position. top 10 in assists, FG%, FT% and 2nd in 3%. too bad i couldn?t get him when he was in his prime, not that i didn?t try really hard Laughing

I guess I'd rather face the Heat than the Hawks/Pistons, too. But first I have the ultimate task at hand to stop the Grizzlies 20-game win streak.

Guys, guys, why is it always me who has to do the impossible (like losing to the Raptors)

Tyler is out for the rest of the season, but who needs a defending and shot blocking big man anyway.

6-2 sim to leapfrog some teams and sitting at 2nd place in the division, a half game behind the Jazz. For the last sim, we have 3 home games and 4 on the road, where the Jazz have 4 and 4. Should be thrilling. It could very well come down to the Nuggets @ Jazz on Day 120.

The George Johnson era is doing well in the win column. I expected more points, but he is giving me more rebounds than I anticipated (same amount as my C) and really doing a good job on the defensive end. And the team seems to be gelling around him so I am not going to complain.

Stats:

C - Kareem
30.9min, 16.6pts, 6.9reb, 1.4ast, 0.6stl, 2.5blk, 55.3%fg

PF - Borgmann
32.8min, 13.4pts, 9.5reb, 1.6ast, 0.9stl, 2.0blk, 50%fg

SF - George
31.9min, 12.5pts. 6.9rb, 1.9ast, 2.4stl, 0.8blk, 47%fg

SG - Magic
39.0min, 24.8pts, 6.4reb, 5.3ast, 2.6stl, 3.4to, 56.9%fg

PG - Evans
38.6min, 15.9pts, 5.3reb, 11.9ast, 2.9stl, 3.8to, 47.6%fg

sub - Zollner
23.9min, 8.0pts, 5.9reb, 1.4ast, 1.3stl, 2.4blk, 39.1%fg

Maybe my success this year has been attributed to having Kareem and Magic together....some good karma or something hehe

Looks like Barton is starting to get warmed up for the playoffs, with 2 player of the weeks in the last 3 weeks.

6-3 sim, not the greatest...  But this team has played 20 games in 21 days, so some tired legs were due...

Well, couldn't get a deal struck in time and have to head into the offseason with this team on hand...

Went an ugly 2-6...scored 93.8ppg - same as last sim. Difference this sim was we gave up 101.9. U-g-g-g-g-gly.

Swift @ C = 11.1ppg, 8.4rpg, 0.5bpg

Buck @ PF = 21.7ppg, 11.1rpg, 1.4bpg

Mike @ SF (3 games) = 25ppg, 9.7rpg, 2spg, 0.3bpg

Dailey @ SF (4 games) = 24.3ppg, 5.5rpg, 4apg, 1spg

Schader @ SG = 10.6ppg, 3rpg, 3.1apg, 1.5spg

Ransey @ PG (5 games) = 15ppg, 4.8rpg, 12apg, 3.2spg

Hiscock @ PG (3 games) = 10.7ppg, 2.3rpg, 6apg, 1.3spg

Analysis-

First off I gotta say I love the way Mike continues to excel with consistency at SF. But the real shock of the sim was Dailey stepping in as a starter and lighting it up!! Buck returned to normal and Ransey had another great assist sim.

My squad was just joking around all season. They finally decided to give some effort this past sim.

We've won 7 out of our last 8 games.

In fact Ransey has been pretty decent recently. I'd take 4topg any day if it comes with 12apg AND 3.2 steals per. Just a pity his man defense is horrible. I was still wondering why I managed to lose one out of two to the Raptors when realizing that they started hiscock at PG both games. and Dailey at SF. makes you wonder even more.

Pretty decent? Horrible man defense? Sometimes I wonder Tom where you pull these sensational claims from...

In the last 10 games opposing starting PGs have averaged 15.7ppg while playing against Ransey. On the season, the averages for these players comes out as 16.7ppg. His defense is good enough to hold opposing PGs under their season averages...I'm not ready at all to call that horrible.

And 15/12 on good percentages with managable turnovers while holding opponents to 15.7? I think most of us would take that -.7 points for those 12 assists any day.

Unfortunately, it's far too late this time.
