had to sign one player for raptors, since they had only 11 players. finally i had a participant in the 3pt shootout and 3 Allstar (1 rookie) as well.
not a good sim but had a tough schedule as well and LB was injured also. Mark played very well in some games as a starter but my bench was to thin to compensate for LB.

The Celtics are in trouble, first losing sim in ages at 3-4. Barely holding onto the 2nd seed for now. Our spirited leader Lenard is gone, and Purvis Shot hasn't found the offense yet. Just 3-3 at home, losing to Hornets and Bucks among others. Too be we couldn't take advantage of some mediocre sim from the Pacers, who also dropped 4 games. The experimenting will go on ... Observations from around the leagueSo the greatly improved RAPTORS started off with their new-look team ... and a 51pt loss to the Rockets. Followed by an 0-6 sim. Ouch ... Milner has the Nets back on track. 5-1 with Richard running the team. Glad i still have 5.5 games on them ... The Kings had a winning sim. The KINGS had a winning sim. THE KINGS HAD A WINNING SIM !!! Time for Ivan to quit ...

Oh, and former Celtic Rip Roan took the slam dunk contest for the 4th time in his career. Not only is he a lock-in for the HALL OF FAME, he also beat opponents that actually saw some playing time this season ...

well it is so obvious why kings win and celtics had a negative sim. Lenard is way better than purvis .....

damn purvis can't even match the production of a 36 year old. 13 pts a game as a first option is really worth 10mill per year

I dont really care about the salary, it'll come off the books in 2 seasons and I'm sure hell provide more than 13ppg in a different game setting. Whats puzzeling is the few shot attempts (less than 12) per game as #1 option. I know that Wedge and Sidney like to shoot, but non-options Tyler (ok, those putbacks) and Trump taking nearly as many is very strange.

6-2 sim for the Hornets, with both losses by only 2 points. I'm starting to think I might be better off without Sampson 2 Hornets, Nique and Stockton, made the All-Star team. Stockton somehow made the regular AS team, but not the Soph AS team.

Mehta player of the week. 4th time a Buck's been player of the week in the first 12 weeks. Mehta and Gragg both made All Star Team. And Harris and Gragg squared off for the 3 point shootout, with Harris just edging him. And oh yeah, went 4-2 and actually lost ground. After Celtics said Natt didn't seem to improve my team, Natt was player of the game in a road victory against the Cs

Stockton somehow made the regular AS team, but not the Soph AS team. Congrats, and Much better sim for the Nets, though this comes as no surprise. Tom was close - we were actually 6-1. And this without Hubbard for 4 games, and our only loss against the much, much stronger Wolves. Seems like the nuisance injury string is not going to end. Not going to rub in Celts losing sim - I'm too classy for that. I, for one, do understand the significance of key injuries. With Milner in the lineup, who is forcing nothing and just making things flow, Schmalzy is twice the player - big every night, double double every game but one missing by two boards, leading scoring four of seven games - this as a non-option. Milner really struggled against Mo Cheeks, but it happens to the best I guess. Milner/Hubbard/Kersey need to get along a little better - but I expect this to improve with experience as a group, and will give them another sim or two together to see if things smooth out before changing settings. Offensive efficiency is better (at home at least), but not where I want to see it just yet, so that will be the marker that I'll keep an eye on. We had a couple of dominant offensive games - just need to (and should) see some more. For all the Woot-bashing that goes on, some of which is deserved, here is why I love him: http://rosters.ssbabasketball.com/boxes/51-8.htmlSad thing is that for each one of those, there's a clunker. For the most part, Johnny Contract has filled in admirably, and is looking like a keeper, so this isn't too much of an issue yet. *Edit to add: Top seed in the Atlantic does not seem out of reach, but it will be hard to catch two teams. Should be a good race the rest of the way. And man, the East is strong....again.

I haven't been playing George Johnson or Joseph Gomes and my team is still playing playoff caliber ball. I don't see it holding up, but I like the fact that while sitting my arguably 2 best players (George b/c I want to trade him soon, and Gomes because I like Spud more) and still in the playoff hunt might be a good sign for the future.

Willis, Kersey, and Perkins all made the Sophomore team. So did McCormick, which was nice to see. Zeke with the slight snub at the ASG, but it's tough to argue with Gragg and Stockton.
Nice little 4-3 sim. Finished it winning 4 of 5. Bol is starting and looking like a solid option there (11/8/3)

3-3 sim that I am not too fussy on. I had 2 games lost at home by 2 points or less while leading in the 4th Q. Need to close those ones out. We are within 1 game of the division, so having those 2 games would have meant the division lead.
Magic and Evans were both in the ASG, nicely represented.
C: Zollner 32.2min, 12.8pts, 11.2reb, 1.5ast, 1.3stl, 1.0blk, 37.5%fg
PF: Borgmann 30.8min, 13.7pts, 8.0reb, 1.5ast, 1.2stl, 2.8blk, 44.2%fg
SF: Xavier 33.8min, 9.2pts, 6.8reb, 1.8ast, 0.8stl, 1.8to, 45.7%fg, 44.4%3pt
SG: Magic 41.0min, 24.2pts, 7.3reb, 5.0ast, 1.8stl, 3.3to, 42.3%fg
PG: Evans 39.0min, 15.3pts, 5.8reb, 11.5ast, 2.0stl, 4.2to, 61.5%fg <- not joking
sub: Kareem 24.3min, 9.2pts, 5.0reb, 1.0ast, 1.2stl, 1.8blk, 41.1%fg
