i posted this already last season, but as it seems some guys still haven´t noticed it.
i will only insert the first 5 bids of each possible bid( Max, MLE, LLE and min).
After watching the first FA bids already exceeding that number, i will make it very obvious.

I will only insert the first 5 bids of MLE, LLE, min and max bids that aren´t bids on your own players.
You can of course make as many offers as you want for your own player but the rest will be limited.

5 per day. since most FA will decide in the first 2 days it won´t make it too different if i allow 5 total per day or 5 extra per day.

No,i won´t allow that. i can´t see a difference between 15 max offers and 15 MLE offers.

Now this doesnt apply to me, but I am curious to know what your ruling would be on the following:

A team is 25mil under the cap, and they would like to offer to 2 max guys and then 10 other guys in the 3-7mil range. Would you allow that, or no because he is offering to 10 other guys and not 5?

well, if you have cap space obviously EVERY offer has to be entered

Anything else would be ridiculous ...

Well this is what I am trying to clear up since apparently he is putting a cap on MAX offers (which is rediculous as far as I'm concerned, how hard is it to hit the MAX BID button? but that's neither here nor there).

ok, let's get this back to a reasonable level.

i don't want the commissioner feel he's treaded poorly again, I think his request has a valid point. There's nothing worse than submitting offers for superstars like Dwight, entering 4 max offers, three more for 10+ million, and 7 MLEs and 3 LLEs !!! Please guys, be a bit realistic, and don't make it deliberately tough on the simmer.

but

there's no point in rejecting any offer if you got cap space. None. That's the main reason to go below the cap, to make offers, and there shouldn't be a limit on the number of those.

Commissioner, let's make a deal: WE THE GMs OF SSBA WILL MAKE IT EASIER FOR YOU, SUBMITTING MOSTLY INTELLIGENT OFFERS ... AND YOU MAKE IT EASIER ON US TOO, ACCEPT QUALITY OFFERS, DON'T PLAY LAWYER BUT RATHER MEDIATOR SOMETIMES. AND LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE'S VOICE EVERY NOW AND THEN

And the SSBA world will be a happier place again ...

My two cents...

Yes, there should be a limit on MLE and LLE and MIN offers...that's understandable.

But, if there are several players worth max contracts, and you can offer a max contract, you should be able to offer it to any and all players that you seem fit.  You shouldn't have to limit your offers to five players...all that does it open the door for others to land the guys that you may be able to sign.

On another note, if you can sign 2 max players, then the thought of capping offers is even dumber.

limits should only be on exceptions.  They should not be on offers made with cap space (either custom offers or max offers).  Doing so would be a huge mistake IMO.  90% of people you offer max to will take their previous teams max offer.  You should absolutely have full flexibility to use your cap space.

The 5-per-exception rule was to prevent people from going crazy and offering half the league their MLE.  It should not reduce the value of cap space.
