Mr. Asslicker no one invited you in this thread.

Beat it.

That's really, really weak.

You weren't here for some time. Anytime i have a debate with Bods NuggsGM contributes nothing except coming personaly after me. So i'm pretty much sick of his buttlicking and lame provocations.

Still man, "Mr.Asslicker" sounds like something my sister would have called me when she was 2. If you need some help with some good, full english insults just let me know   Cheers

Could someone clue me in on what happened with this Bowie situation?

CPU picked Bowie ahead of MJ, Barkley, Stockton, etc

And then CPU decided to trade Bowie for 70 cents on the dollar

The CPU-run Lakers had the second pick in the draft, and picked Sam Bowie when Jordan, Barkley and Stockton were still on the board. The CPU then traded Bowie to the Spurs for some relatively average players (which turned out not to be such a bad trade b/c Bowie stinks, but there was a fairly large uproar at the time regarding trades w/ the CPU).

Wow, that is horseshit...things like that def take away from the "realism" from the league.

I voted to draft by committee.

Not only that. It gave a oportunity to Bods to get a great future PF (and we all know how hard they come) in Barkley and Hornets a great PG in Stockton, a guy who was essential in his title run (cause he had no PG whatsoever at that time).

In short, it changed the entire landscape of the league.

Well, considering Bowie was drafted in front of those 3 in real life, maybe not  Smile

I put in the text below the Kings avator into an online english/croation translator and got:
"Jebacu you mother ak we does not plebiscitary title." I had to look up "plebiscitary," which got me "Of or pertaining to plebiscite."

I have no idea what that means, but it can't be good.

Jebacu - verb of jebati which means "i'll fu*k"
vam - your
majke - mothers
ako - if
mi - to me
ne donesete - don't bring
naslov - the title.

Full translation - "I'll fu*k your mothers if you don't bring me the title". Needless to say, it's being adressed to my players.  Laughing

I like first 3 ideas equally....

CPU run, nothing against it.

Other GMs take over, like that too altough it has 1 bad thing,
depends which GM would take over.

Run 3 teams by commitee maybe is best idea actually.

and a big and definite NO to last proposal. We could wait for a
week or two.

I'm not very attentive. I didn't realize that I was even mentionned in the options up until this very moment, and didn't realize that Milner was MVP until last night....the one thing that I did notice (last night, of course) was that Bennett got hosed in the 6MOY race - maybe it was because he missed some games - but he had a much nicer year and did it in 4 fewer minutes.

Posted about the vacancies in my league in case any are interested. Posted Bods' email address and league website. No promises, most of the active ones are already here.
