I really like this pick. Strickland could be a solid bench player/6th man.

Yeah, if he can just raise his defense 1-2 levels he'd be a great first swing off the bench

No Steven Jackson, mind you. But a nice player off the bench

That's a decent pick. Should be frst off the bench behind George.

Actually I had him rated higher than Del Negro. DN had +1 in inside & def, Strickland +1 in outside and rebounding. The +2 in handles was the difference maker...I like for my sf to be able to occasionally catch the ball and run at the same time.

Defense is/should be a big factor though. And strickland needs some improvement there.

Unless there is a really large difference between a B- and a C+ then Del Negro could use improvement also. And if they are each at the far extreme of those ranges I figure 13-14 points max on a 100 point scale. But then they also could be separated by just 1 or 2 points. And a +2 in handling could be the deifference in a couple turnovers a night.
Also at 6'10" with a better outside shot Strickland will get his shot off against most defenders.

I really liked Strickland, tried to get another pick to draft him. He has size, shooting, and potential.
