well i couldn´t get any better. some tough losses against spurs and nuggets but luckly nets and i were tied for first place and thanks to a great butler and some horrible shooting from fuqua from the line i manged to win that game.

So now the 3 teams with best season record are from the east.
celtics were really lucky. guess they won a coin flip decision or something like that and earn the right to battle my team.
Wolves have the worst record.

And i have to announce that i won´t tolerate careless DCs next year. I had several DCs this year were guys posted players on their DC they traded before. i am still undecided if this guys just tried to tank or didn´t care.

As usual we will split the PO rds into 2 sims each round. every gm will have a chance to change his lineup after game 3. i will wait 12 hours before i sim again.
As usual please send me your DCs and i will send mine to bods.

What a shame of a last sim at 5-2. One loss to the Celtics got them into the playoffs and his pick, which I own, out of the lottery Bash At a .439 win % - stupid Eastern Conference Alcoholic

This loss also put me into a tie with the Pacers who I played in the last game of the season,  coincidentally enough. I promptly lost that game too - with my vets mailing it in - and out the window goes first place in the East and overall  Bash Bash

Now that I've got that out of my system, congrats Pacers on a great season, and nice job Tom sneaking into the playoffs! The East needs to fear the Hornets and Pistons who are on the verge of greatness, meaning that us "older" teams better get us a ring right now - we might not have a chance after this for a long, long time.

Good luck to Knicks in the first round. Now I'm off to drink lots of beer, eat lots of meat and maybe catch a fish or two.

Horrible.

I should've traded that fucking pick.

Playing Bird at PF is truly a horrible concept. But I have no idea what's so bad about a top 4 draft pick ???

anyway, WE DID IT !!!

Thanks to some nice road wins against the Nets and (fellow competitors) Bulls we managed to sneak into the post season. Tied with the surging Wizards, but beating them 3-1 in the season series  probably made the difference.

Next up: the Pacers. The season series was lost 0-4, of course, but only the last game came with a DC of my own.
I like our chances, especially after assembling on of the better road records in this joke of a season (and even better than our disgusting home record).

Sorry, Nets, about that pick thing. But I doubt the difference between #13 and #14 will be that crutial ...

Here we go...I just hope we dont get embarassed in the playoffs, but I will be happy to win 1 game. I didnt even realize how good we were at home/bad we were on teh road (a 23-18/15-26 split).

Couple of shafts when it came to end of year awards as well unfortunately. Buck (21.7/12.6/2.0/1.2/1.2) wasnt chosen for 1st team all league at SF, instead Michael Robinson was (17.8/6.7/5.0/2.2/0.4/2.3). Perhaps team success played a factor. Borgmann (15.9/8.5/1.8/1.0/2.0/1.9) didnt make the 2nd team, losing the spot to Perkins (14.4/9.0/2.0/1.0/0.9), and you cant even say team success mattered.

Buck finished off with a strong sim: 25/14
Borgmann was only OK: 16.4/7.7
Olen Cannon is an offensive machine, shooting 49.5% as a non option and avg 13.3/4/4
Green is far more effective as a backup (or maybe its that he gets to play some PF), as he put up 14/7/2 but only shot 40%
Snow had 8.4ast to 2.7to

oh, i DO trust my team, but going against the #1 seed is a tough assignment.
i'd be more than happy to even win 4 games in these playoffs ...

60 wins for a team that has a starting lineup with an average age of 23!

Hornets were all over the individual accolades, with Macy being the Jewel in the crown, making both All League First Team and All Defensive Second Team. He was my team MVP for sure. Calvin Natt made All League Third Team, but imo those 3 SFs could be interchanged however you want. Hinson made All Defensive Second Team and Stockton made All Rookie First Team.

Overall, a great season for us -- now for a tough matchup with the Bucks!

I'd just like to note that I appreciate how punctual the Commish was this season. I think every sim was run when it was said it would be run -- that might be a record. I was never disappointed when I looked to see if the sim had been run, and we all know that feeling.

Great job Pacers  Cheers

Have to agree with the Hornets...
Great job Pacers, excellent season of commishing!!!

Well, no one was injured in Sim 12 for the Warriors, and my goal was to go into the playoffs healthy.
Darren Rice played pretty well in his tarting role this time around, and Mad Max missed a triple double by one 1 rebound against our 1st round opponent (Blazers)

To the playoffs...  1st round match-up vs. the Blazers.  4-0 during the season, but Hakeem always makes it an interesting game.  We have yet to play each other at full strength...

5-4 sim to end the season.  Now against the Pistons, we won the season series 3-1, but a few glaring weaknesses on my team's part which I am sure bods will attempt to exploit.  I had to make some changes myself.  William Brice had 31 steals against my team in 4 games, over 7/game.  That is ridiculous!  I am hoping to steal one in Auburn Hills before returning back the ATL for a couple games.  I hope to make in competitive but it will be a very tough series to win.

Wow, we completely blew it the last 4 sims or so. We were like 3 games over .500 at one point not that long ago. Oh well, the 11th or 12th pick should get me someone decent.

Perkins/Willis made the rookie 2nd team. McCormick somehow won 6th man of the year Question I knew he had good numbers considering his playing time, but still that was a bit of a shocker.

Congrats to Michael Robinson for making all league first team as a SF (we won't tell them Blackman's been my SF all year).

Congrats to Barkley for making all rookie 1st team, and William Brice for making 2nd defensive team.

How 'bout that Kyle Macy 1st team SG?  Wow.

Not sure I'm looking forward to the matchup with the Hawks all that much.  Haven't done well against them, and I kinda stumbled into the playoffs.
