Hey guys,
I'd like to get all your opinion on what to do about RaptorsGM.

Last year he missed 9 of 12 DC's.  He said that he was really busy, so we overlooked it, and he stayed.

He missed Draft and FA this offseason.  And so far this year has not made a DC.  He last logged in 11 days ago, September 3rd.  I've sent him an e-mail over a week ago, and he never responded.

Obviously, Trev has been here since the beginning.  We WANT him to stay.  But he hasn't been a GM now in over two sim years, and he's been incommunicado in attempts to talk to him.  What do you think we should do?

Giving him more time, if he keeps that way for more then 30 days then we should do something about it.

So missing 24 out of 28 DC's isn't enough?  I fear that by the time 30 days hits, the Raptors will be rotten.

I agree, I think they might need a new GM.  Trev has been a great and loyal GM, but I think life might have gotten too busy for him.  He has missed a lot, maybe too much.

I voted no, for the time being. We don't really know what goes on in each other's personal lives, so it's tough to make the right call in many cases. I know that he said he left school recently, so he's probably got some other things on his mind right now. I think that we should give him until the end of the season (FA day 5 / TC), and then move on if we haven't heard from him. Obviously it's going to be detrimental to the Raptors to be without a human GM, but I think Trev has earned our patience with his past commitment to the league.

I voted to get him another chance, if only to tell us (or at least bods/commish) what's his plans are. I think that much fairness for a guy being here from the start - and one of the most active for that matter (i still remember him tripling my posts easily, when I was most active a few seasons ago).

I learned he was fired from DJSL earlier this week, after not doing anything there for a long time as well, but that was ok there

I just wish he'd respond to my e-mails.

Does anybody have any alternate e-mails for trev?  If you do, PM them to me.

We all know he has been one of the most active GM's. Bods, did you say there are already 2 open GM spots? if so, lets try to fill those first. Then we can give away his spot. I see no reason to fire him now if there are open GM spots.

Well, this is more a theoretical, "how long do you wait" kinda question.  Let's assume those get filled in a week.  Do we then look to replace trev?

I guess we all have some kind of techology overdose and need a break from virtual life (it happened to me dozens of time) so i guess Trev is feelin the same.

I say give him some time till the season ends, there's no point in firing him now since the Raptors season is already lost.

That's the thing.  The most important time of the year for a team is the offseason.  I'd like all teams to be active for that.

Draft is the most important thing for that team's future. If he misses the draft then he obviously don't care anymore.

As i said, give him some time till the draft BUT we should have a new GM being prepared to jump in comes draft time.

Besides, we always seems to have one or two open spots, so if he decides to come back, we can always find him a team.
