2 of my younger guys Laimbeer and Darrell Walker both played good against the backups, Walker's to's are better which could lead to more PT for him this season. Reggie Johnson looks like he could be a solid player inside, not gonna be anything special but around 10/8/1.5

Another bucketfull of sickness and mediocricy in otherwise meanigless season.
10-5, pretty good performances. And we still get the pleasure of these kinds of comments?

My team is brutal, and key guys have lots of turnovers.
BUT, 16th overall pick Edward Borgmann avg 19.4/8.6
Looks like there were good picks throughout this draft. Borgmann was very good, Vern Fleming was , Kevin Willis looks superb, and of course the guys at the top look worth their draft slots - except Jordan who is obviously a turnover machine, and Bowie who is looking very average . Kudos to Blazers...who somehow resisted the temptation to play Hakeem during the first pre-season. As long as you ignore the FG% I have a feeling that the two coinflips that I lost that would have gotten me Stockton and Flemming are going to have me wondering "what if?" for a long time.

At least you just got unlucky. I PASSED on Vern Flemming (21.4 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 2.9 apg, 1.6 spg) and Edward Borgmann (19.4 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 2.4 bpg) to take Jerome Kersey (4.8 ppg, 3.8 rpg) and Terrell Wu (6.7 ppg, 9.2 rpg, 2.0 bpg)

But again, Barkley == luck
(and I'm not even sure THAT was the right pick, with Stockton coming in and averaging a double-double right from the get-go)

So, you must take the good with the bad, right?

Well, I'm not complaining about Blackman, am I? It's just human nature to always look at what could have been, or I guess what should have been if you don't make mistakes. You only look at what you did wrong, not what went in your favor. I tend to be more pissed about things that I missed (i.e. missing on these guys in the draft) than I do about things that I get unlucky (i.e. losing a coin toss).

12-4...looks impressive until you realize that I really don't have young guys who I need to look at. I returned my top 7 from last year and added Bowie to be my backup PF/C. And I have one A, 3 A-, 2 B+ and a C (Mitchell) defender in that group...second in FG% defense and tops in 3 pt%. Average shooting but strong offensive rebounding keep the offense going. And did I mention that 21 year old Bowie is joining a core all age 24-28 so unless I am blown away with a trade offer this team is set for a couple seasons. A little tweaking in the DC and cross my fingers hoping the success carries over to the reg season.
Preseason auditions are for who gets to wave towels and who ends up on the IR. Roster spots 9-12 are very competitve which means one of my second rounders could actually see playing time.

How the hell Colliton drops 33 on Byron Scott.
And how the hell Lister drops 34/17 on 14-23 on Phil Hubbard.
Makes no sense at all.
