I do not think I have ever had a TC that was this bad...

My top player, Barton O'Connell, lost 2 defense and one rebound.
My future, Don Collins, gained a defense. YEaayyyy...
My future part deau (Phil Hubbard) stayed the same.
My two centers both got worse (Thurmond lost a defense, Holman def and rebounding)
Mad Max stayed the same...

Yuck...

Rookie Borgmann looks nice, +1 IN, DEF, REB

Buck was -1 IN -1 HND

Teagle -1 HND

Green went +1 IN

Lafrentz +1 IN

Dont know what Bailey Snow ate this offseason but he gained +1 HND +1 DEF +1 REB

Rookie Chris Avery disappointed, -1 REB

Terry Teagle stayed the same

Robertson started his downhill trot to retirement, losing a grade of HND, DEF and REB

And by the looks of it, my FA bids werent entered, so FA wire here I come I guess

Hornets are probably going to win a title in his 2nd year of rebuilding.

Very mixed reaction to this TC.

Barkley went up 1 in rebounding.  It'll be interesting to see what his defense is at PF.  It was B- before TC, hopefully it goes up to B after TC.

Wu had +2 defensively, and +1 on the boards.  That's primarily what I wanted him to improve in.  It would have been nice if he didn't drop one in inside scoring, but eh.

Kersey gained one in outside, but dropped one in inside and handles.  His potential did improve.

Marion just fell off the face of the earth.  -1 outside, -1 handles, -1 defense.  I could have used him off the bench this year.

Demler went +1 handles.  A handles for a backup PG is a nice feature.  Hopefully his defense and/or outside shooting can go up so in a few years he can take over for Brice.  Brice and Blackman stayed the same, which is all I could hope for.

An encouraging Training Camp for the Rockets. Some nice surprises but some dissapointments too:

The Good:
+ Greg Kite has improved his defense to A- (This guy will be good, his potential is sky high!)
+ Wiley Peck has woken up from his 4 year slump. Improved his outside to B and is now B B C- B+ C+ C
+ Charles Phelps has improved his outside to B+, making him a huge scoring threat!
+ Ricky Pierce has improved his outside and Defense 1 spot to B, with his high potential he could figure in my rotation in a year or 2
+ Larry Drew and Vince Davies are looking capable of becoming the pass first PG's I need

The Bad:
= Rick Mahorn lost inside and Defense but is still impressive with B C- C- B+ B+ C
= Young James Ray may have moved up to B inside but lost 1 point in defense to B-, I had high hopes for the 22 year old.
= Allen Coles has stood still. Yes, he kept his good scoring inside and out, but after last years development I was hoping for more improvement...

The Ugly:
- Otis Thorpes potential kicked in and he dropped to B+ inside and C+ defense. He has gone from starter to backup.

Overall, I would rate my training camp as: B

Summary:
We now have more people who can contribute and in more ways than last year. More scorers + more depth must lead to more wins...?

Greg Kite is gunna be awesome, watch this space... 6'11 with A- defense, and his potential is huge!  Cheers

Man.  I can't believe I gave up on Calvin Natt.  After his 17/9 third year, I thought he had peaked.  I thought I had to sell, because I thought his value would drop in the coming years.  He put up 19.6/10.4 and 22.6/8.6 the past two years, and just improved greatly this TC Sad  He'd look real nice on this team.  And I gave him up for Max, who's not even here anymore.

I wanted him or Bailey pretty badly last year when I had the cap space.

damn, i just realized that 2nd round youngster improved +2, he is still just 21 and with A pot, he almost went undrafted.

Great to see older guys like Tower and Clement improving handles. They could be dangerous.

Julian was only huge disappointment dropping outside and handles, he looked sick before TC.

And my 2nd round rookie Ivan looks like a real deal, he kept A- outside, improved defense and his potential went to A. He could be a real steal of this draft.

....rebuilding for 7 seasons and it seems like rebuilding again, hopefully by the year 2065 Kings might achieve something.
