Well, if I were to guess, I'd think that Derek has a new best-friend.

Sam Bowie at #2... yikes! Good for me though! Thorpe and Fleming are still on the board so either way I fill a need at #7

Is Alvin Robertson the All-star who played for the Spurs and had two career quadruple-double?

Sam Bowie! Sam Bowie! Oh happy day! Does FBB know about bball history? How ironic that the top 3 played out EXACTLY like in real life. Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan. The Lakers will probably be regretting that one in SSBA about as long as the Blazers did in real life. But, the Lakers have Clark Kellogg and Paul Pressey, so who needs Michael.
I was furious when the draft order came out. I almost traded the pick out of frustration. I then resigned myself to to taking Stockton, and letting him and Demler fight it out in TC.
Now I've got Sir Charles.
I mean, who knows if a 6'5" PF can work in this league, but hot damn. I'm giddy like a school girl.
I think the Hornets might have lucked out the most. I was going to take Stockton 4th. But Stockton's the exact perfect fit on that team. A potential superstar AND the position of most need. While I got the talent I needed, I'm still a long way's away. Hornets might have been that one piece away. It'll be nice having the rivalry with them revived, even though they'll probably pound me into oblivion for a good few years.

that's bullshit, getting MJ at #3. Honestly, how can the cpu screw the Lakers that bad. He would have been PERFECT for a new GM to get a headstart, maybe build around him or trade him for lots of assets.
Now the Lakers are going nowhere fast, and finding a GM for the keeps for them will be a tough assignment

Yeah, I honestly don't know. 'Jay' posted in the GM waiting list last week. I've sent him two e-mails since then, and he hasn't gotten back to me. I would have preferred for the GM who's going to be taking over the Lakers to have the opportunity to make the draft pick, but I wanted to give Jay a chance at the team since he expressed interest.

The most ironic part may not happen for a year or two...when Bowie developes into an SSBA all-star and Jordan becomes just another SG.
