had only 3 games and thanks to 2 home games i had a 2-1 sim.
Jarrett Omeara got his first start and continued his hot shooting.
he avg 14.6pts 4.6rebs 3.3ass and shot 60% from the field and even better 64% from outside.

lousy sim for the Celtics

8 home games ... and went only 5-4, losing to lousy road teams like Rockets (yes, those 49pt Rockets) and Cavs, plus Knicks and Warriors again ... and it could have been worse if Terry Teagle didn't throw in a 5-5 shooting night to rescue us for a 1pt victory over the even lousier 76ers.

My experiment with Tornopsky starting went completely wrong, he got scored on like crazy and couldn't maintain his good percentages.

Back to what's working next sim i guess.

A 3-4 sim, but we lost Harris for the last 5 and things are looking up!!!

David jonas is a revelation at PG, averaging 26.6ppg and 8.6apg. He also had 1 tripple double on day 34 with 36-10-11, was very close to a second on day 39 with 34-10-9

...EVEN WILEY PECK STEPPED UP HIS PRODUCTION WITH SOME BIG SCORING GAMES!!!

Nuggets go 5-4 after dealing Munson and Pettit for Stocker and Jefferson and moving Ransey to SG. Stats to follow shortly.

Two consecutive winning, but pedestrian sims. Everything is nice and balanced, everyones doing their part, noones really standing out.

Well well well, I may have found out something that works....

Its amazing what a guy I grabbed off waivers last year can do when starting at PG...

Hanke "Panke" Prantmair played 35min, 6.1ppg, 2.4reb, 11.6ast, 1.7stl, 0.2blk, 46.5%fg, 41.7%3pt, 90.9%ft, 2.8to, 1.9fl

Decided to force McHale into 1st option and move him to PF, results:
30min, 20ppg, 9.2reb, 1.4ast, 0.6stl, 1.7blk, 45.2%fg, 60.9%ft, 1.4to, 3.0fl

Thus Buck was tried out at SF and as 2nd option and dominated.
39.6min, 28ppg, 12.4reb, 2.4ast, 1.3stl, 1.1blk, 53.8%fg, 68.7%ft, 2.3to, 2.2fl

Stocker was far better than expected starting at C and being 3rd option in my Inside offence:
34.8min, 20.6ppg, 13.4reb, 2.1ast, 0.8stl, 1.3blk, 55%fg, 43.1%ft, 3.0to, 2.7fl

Ransey was limited to a game and a half starting at SG:
28.5min, 13.5ppg, 3.5reb, 4.0ast, 3.0stl, 0blk, 55.6%fg, 60%3pt, 66.7%ft, 1.5to, 2.0fl

In Ransey's place, LLE signing Dean Ellis played heavy minutes, and really didnt do a lot:
42.6min, 6.3ppg, 3.5reb, 2.3ast, 1.9stl, 0.9blk, 41.3%fg, 30%3pt, 81.8%ft, 2.0to, 2.1fl

In the end, I hope to stay competitive enough that I dont give Nets a chance at a top pick. I hope when Ransey leaves, he takes our whole team's fumblitis with him.

Not that this sim was without any highlights:

beating the best team in SSBA from last season by 37, scoring a franchise record 142 pts and shooting 65% (that's a team record, maybe even a league record?) in that process is pretty nice (http://rosters.ssbabasketball.com/boxes/35-8.html)

also, holding the Hornets to 70 prove my defense works at least on occasions ...

I tried Sampson at PF and didn't get very good results.
It seems a slow pace produces the most balanced scoring and the highest FG%, but doesn't produce wins.
