I am planning to seperate all PO rds like we do already in the finals. But not into 2 days of action.
I would sim the first 3 games and give the gms about 12 hours to make changes before i sim the rest.

I like it, as long as you don't mind the xtra work. It adds the coaching/strategy element to the playoffs.

The only negative I see is that it punishes the people who may not be able to be on the site more than once a day.

i think it's a decent change, if a team is going to be in the playoffs, they should be willing to make the effort to get online, Playoff injuries are critical and teams should be able to respond within a series, I think it's an excellent idea. Although, Pacers are new at this so, they might be willing to do the extra work now with the new momentum, but i think it's up to him to take a good objective look at what he's going to be able to do as the new guy now and in the future. In my championship series with the nets, I remember making a critical move in matchups that may have spelled the difference. I don't see why we shouldn't have this right in previous series, especially since we're getting a new outcropping of teams making appearances.

It is an interesting concept. I'd be into it - adds some coaching and injury flexibility as mentionned. Derek's point is valid, that there's a potential imbalance for less frequent visitors, but should be pretty moderate so long as there are no penalties for not changing a DC halfway through a round or something like that.

the playoffs would still be 4 days long.

just 2 sims a day, games 1-3 in the morning and 4-7 at night with a chance to make changes inbetween. I love that idea ...

Oh ok.

But that would then be unfair to the teams who cannot be online every single day and the exact time of the break, no?

Sounds good.

Means with the time difference I might actually be around for one of the sims!

... if I ever make the playoffs again that is!
