I've never been a commish and am not really a PC pro, so what kind of time commitment are we looking at on a per sim basis? For an average in-season sim and average off-season sim? How long does it take, or who will make, the draft files? Most of the GM actions look easy enough to stay on top of with the current set up, but how much time is required to do what needs to be done to keep things up to date?

I'd be interested in helping out, but I need to be realistic about my time commitments as well. And yes, I'm a responsible father too  Thumbs Up

I'd probably takes about 20 minutes to do a sim.  Sim 1 a little more (since all depth charts are entirely new).

The offseason ranges very drastically.  The drafts take maybe 5 minutes.  Day 5 FA takes about an hour to an hour and a half.

As Hawks said, I actually created a lot of GUI tools to help out in the commish department, to automate a lot of things and take down on the amount of technical detail.  There's no need to use an FTP or SSH client.  About as technically in depth as it gets is using excel. I've even written my own hack so you don't have to pay for FBB. (which I just did because in order to install it in vmware on linux I would have had to pay, a second time, to do so)

Well, that being the case, and not sounding too overwhelming, I be interested in helping out then as commish, so will throw my name into the hat.

I would be in contact with you for help from time to time of course, and could always chat up Nick, Tom and Trev who I know and who have plenty of experience.

And yeah, let's get to voting.
