Men, i really dont remember when was the last time we had such a great FA. Every day we've made some good signing. Now just to fix that Peck problem and re-sign him, it'll be perfect FA.
Really happy.

damn, offered my LLE to some young big men, and of course the worst of those signed in Hobson. Had hoped to get Rodney Drew or Raul Doleac ... but instead of my LLE he took a 36mill contract !!! Greedy bastard ... anyway, Hobson had some decent games from the bench for the Sonics last year, and still has A pot, so there's hope.

you just shelved out 16 mill to a 31yr old big man scoring 6ppg. What exactly made you happy here? I know after Yao's retirement he's probably your best C, but honestly, he's like Pavel Podkolzine without the defense ...

Honest to goodness, how does Luol Deng take 12 million over two years from the Suns - a non-playoff team - when I offered him 12 million over 1 year and he could be on a team that is coming together? He must have sensed my mercenary plans for him My other news helped soften that sting abit. I'm pretty interested by Griffin Gola - I think he might make one heckuva shooting guard. He has progressed nicely during his two TC's and maintains B potential - getting him for first round $$ is nice - like a free pick without giving anything up. Hoped that maybe someone nice might gobble up my MLE - but not yet.

After a good FA last season, mine has turned out awful this season. I only have Peter Shabinger left with bird years, I'm at least lucky Mike Evans re-signed. I have to hope George Johnson doesn't go down again this season to even be in the playoff race. My team will be thin and not nearly as talented as last season.

When you proclaimed you'd resign your guys, what did you think they'd take ? i can't believe you lost Cliff. He signed for less than max with the Wizards, he was BY FAR the most talented young big man left in FA, and you are nowhere near the hard cap. He might not have shown much so far, but sometimes you gotta role the dice too ... And Darko signed for MLE? You couldn't top MLE? Or was it that you still hope to sign someone with that 3+ mill cap you have left?

Darko I offered more than the 10 mil over 2 years and he left me and Cliff I gambled by offering a shorter contract and he left me. I didn't think he was worth he signed for so I wasn't going to offer more than I did on day 2. Oh well, Reggie Johnson, a first round pick from 3 years ago can finally get a shot at some playing time, we'll see if he earns it after not playing a game since his rookie year.

Ok something came up and Day 4 won't be run until tomorrow and then Day 5 on Friday. As far as the Wiley Peck situation, he shows up in Derek's FA list but still not mine in the FBB system. So what we will do is I will enter all the bids except what is offered for Wiley Peck. I will send Derek the file and he will enter Wiley Peck's bids. Make sure you enter your bids for Peck, I wasn't able to input any of the bids so far, so none of them will carry over.

well, i guess we agree that Cliff isn't nearly worth what he's paid now, and there's a chance he will never be. but looking at your (great) cap situation i would have given him at least one more audition offering max money on a BIG 1yr or 2yr deal.
Trying to get guys cheaper is a good thing to do (overspending sucks) ...
... but not after this complete FA day 1 desaster, where a dozen teams with big money got no signings, and Cliff is basically the only young guy left to shell out any big dough for !

Nolan Keogan, IMO, is severly overpaid. But im somewhat desperate for a bigman. I don't trust Nance, even with his good potential that he would be ready to contribute next season. But I really hope that he could step up at the C position. If not, I got my MLE and LLE guys to fill the hole. Congrats again to everyone who got their guys to sign on their team.

Whoa!!!! I thought a decision would be made on who would get him, not just let him re-enter free agency on day 5 (which guarantees the Blazers will get him) If that is the decision, I think it is incredibly unfair...

As an unbiased GM who had no hope in getting him, I too think that would be a very poor way of making the final decision as it would indeed give Blazers a 99% chance of resigning him.
If you have all of the original bids that were posted on Day 1 of everyone's intended offer prior to them losing their caproom, I think you should manually put him on the team who offered the largest contract and adjust his salary accordingly.
