The New Jersey Nets trade:
Jeremy Munson
$50

to the Denver Nuggets for:
Bennett Fuqua
Albert King
Vinnie Johnson
Nuggets 2021 First Round Pick

Nets agree. I've had a semi-obsession with Bennett Fuqua (and all players like him) since I joined this league, and am finally able to say, "Welcome to the swamp". I think he's the perfect three for me with his great rebounding and interior game - I now have above average rebounding at two positions, and am about average at the rest, save for maybe the pivot. King, despite his limited development to date, is useful to me as a swingman and who knows, may develop yet. I'm a little intrigued by Vinnie "The Microwave's" balanced game even though there's little track record on him.

I'll quickly thank Jeremy for his efforts in New Jersey, but he always seemed to be a square peg in a round hole for us in that we seem to win more without him than with him.

Good luck with it, Nuggets - easy dealing with you as always.

Thanks Nets you as well, I accept.

Hard to part with this many pieces for 1 player but I feel that I now have a starting 5 that can contend: Munson, Buck, McHale, Pettit, Ransey.

Obviously my problem now is depth, having just a 7 man rotation of solid players.

Note: both Nets and I know King's real potential, and it isnt pretty, so I am not too sad on losing him. VJ never played. So really, I get another contract off my books (King) due to taking back the big one, and trade only 1 rotation player and next year's 1st for a double double machine with my core youth still in tact. I'll take it.

Nets probably dont have to cut anyone if you process the Warriors trade 1st.

Wow, I thought I replied in here....
Nets are fine. Had 13, subtracted one , then added 3 putting me at a full roster...temporarily. And yeah, we both know his real potential - but he's got nice D at two positions (one of my favorite things in swingmen), and isn't a brutal shooter or anything. One or two more grades here or there - which is not inconceivable - and he may be something yet.  Cheers
