And now to something completely different ...

that old Monty Python Flying Circus slogan is exactly what sim 3 will be for the Boston Celtics. As promised during the preseason this sim will field the first "All 2nd rounder" starting lineup in league history.

C Jerome Veen (#3 round 2 in 2016)
PF Darren Tillis (#11 round 2 in 2019)
SF David Thirdkill (#12 round 2 in 2019)
SG Travis Arizin (#13 round 2 in 2019)
PG Darius Perry (#1 round 2 in 2008)
backing up the forward spots will be former #1 round 2 pick Dylan Pettit (who is nursing a sore tight thus only seeing limited action).
http://forums.ssbabasketball.com/index.php?topic=6351.msg42910#msg42910

The five opponents to face this illustrous squad will be the Chicago Bulls, New Jersey Nets, Miami Heat, Atlanta Hawks, and the Portland Trail blazers. So let's bring on the real D-league games ...

 Cheers

Are you allowed to do that?  You cannot bench your three best players for no reasons.  Those 2nd round players lineup are for preseason.

No, you can;t bench your 3 best players for NO reason. He wants to see what that lineup can do, and there is no rule against that.

that would be the first time a playoff team is accused of tanking
 Lol 2

i specifically picked this sim with only 5 games because i don't rule out losing a game or two and i don't want to lose too much ground on the division leaders. And I would be very surprised if Tyler, Woolridge and Strait (together with Perry) wouldn't get the most minutes nearly every game anyway ...

No, this is something i wanted to do for 8 seasons now, and finally i have the personnel to give it a try ...
Cool

Equally solid sim for the Nets, with a .667 win percentage! Rock on!

Barely squeaked by the "Boston 2nd-ics"  Laughing, and had a road loss by just two. Seem to be playing a more balanced game with soon-to-be departed Jeremy Munson playing less, which is off, but a fact none-the-less. Two sims to go until the reinforcements arrive.

3-3, better than a losing sim I suppose

I might have to deal my team away

Ahh,

sim 1 Ahye out for 4 sims

sim 2 Yao and Reuben out early in the sim

sim 3 Bolinger out for 3 sims, Yao was out of the sim again in game 2.

still we manage to stay #2 and close to #1...

nice, but damn.

Im really impressed how this team does well this 1st 3 sims, main frontcourt guy gets injured we do great, our other 2 frontcourt starters get out for sim 2 and without entire frontcourt we still manage to have a winning sim, now in sim 3 our starting PG and Yao again get injured and we-re still there !!

This team will be unstoppable for everyone in POs with little luck considering injury's.
