fuckin Phelps, i precisely told him that he is not option nr.1 but damn boy kept shooting the ball like a maniac and screwed everything up with his 5-25 perfomances, went 3 down, came back to 2-3 and had a chance in Portland for game 7 but Mavs somehow pulled it.

Anyway, congrats Mavs and bring the title back to West, good luck !!

Good series Blazers, I don't know why you don't want Phelps to be your #1 option, he killed us in the regular season.  Now onto the Finals and $50 gm points on the line, hopefully we can take advantage of Antone Berkowitz out for 6 days.

Yeah he did, but Livingston was playing fantastic POs and he did even better job during regular season then Phelps, not as many points, but better overall, and Phelps wasted too many balls in this series, i believe we had a better shot if Livingston took more responsability, but anyway thats all past, good luck in finals and bring that title back to where it belongs, and thats WEST !!

Livingston? You put your season in the hands of Livi? Tell me that's not true ...

anyway ...

Just like i thought, the Cavs just used their depth to easily beat the Magic. Howard is nice and pretty much hard to stop, but Humphries is a very underrated defender (no idea where his rating is from) and can play on both ends of the floor. But the difference was Ricky Fisher ouplaying brice badly in games 4-6 and Melo having a subpar series - which is bad when you only have 2 people who can score at all (guess there's a reason why he has so many awards and zero titles).

The finals look to be a good one though. The Mavs have nobody to stop Manning, the Cavs are 8 deep even without Berko, and Robinson isn't exactly Keogans favourite opponent, but if Harris should take care of Fisher and the PF matchup will be even.

So IF (big IF) Tobey can get the better of Adams and Emeka/Keogan provide enough 30pt scoring games (in the SAME game) then the Mavs have a legitimate chance. Otherwise it's all Cavs.

Prediction: Cavs in 5.

It took quite some time to put it together, but the Cavs TEAM is awesome. Not on an individual basis, but as a whole. Their 2nd unit of Griffin/Humphries/McCracken/Meyers/Gomes could probably make the playoffs in the West, that's how deep they are. Marvelous GM job.

He took me past Suns and Jazz so why not Mavs as well ? If only Phelps took less shots and gave few of those to Livy or others things mightve gone in other direction, if i knew Phelps would shot that much i would put him on SG and not SF.

Nice job so far, Mavs.
They now hold the keys to the title (but just one Cavs win in next 2 games and we're heading back to CLE)

And IF the series moves back, it will be interesting to see what impact Berkowitz can have in games 6 and 7.

Still believe Cavs in 7, but I would love to see a new champ ...
 Cheers

FYI, the calendar will be updated in a few minutes, draft will be pushed back due to the sim being pushed back.

Well done Mavs. You beat my team pretty badly. I'll have to get you back for that... Cool

Surprise surprise.

I will now swallow my own words from a few seasons ago: Jeremy Palacio DOES have some value. He slowed down Manning considerably and this might have thrown the Cavs offense out of sync. Of course, Emeka and Tobey killing the Cavs on the boards in Berkowitz' absence didn't hurt either ...

Congratulations Mavs on a true dominant performance ...
 Cheers

and who would have guessed the Cavs stint on top would be such a brief one. Emmanuel's retirement is huge I believe, and with most of their starters in the 30ies already it will be interesting to see how they can regroup.
