Raptors Agree.

I broke it down as this: Boozer for Emmanual Griffin and Antonio Daniels

and: Murray and Lynch for a high second rounder.

This gives me:

Mihm
Boozer
Finley
Carter
FA/Draft

With Ostertag, the 14th pick, the 25th pick and Banks off the bench.

Boozer - B+ C- C B+ A- A

Tanner Houbergs- B+ C+ D+ A- C+ A

That is why I love this trade so much. Is well behind Boozer as far as stats go.

Now the Nets have the 2nd and third picks, but lose a superstar in Boozer. Do you expect Ferry or Griffin to be as good as Boozer?

But Nets traded away the 3rd pick for Sammy.

I wonder if this was a right spot-right time trade for me? Nets were set on trading Boozer, a 21 and 10 guy, and I happened to be online, and able to make a half-decent offer.

I used alot of skill, IMO, in the trades that has got me to this point. Getting the 3rd pick, from the 6th highest chance, and then getting Boozer with that, well, that has been pretty lucky.

And now, I think I have a great shot at drafting who I want.

If by right place-right time you mean with the picks, then yes.  I wouldn't have traded Boozer for anything lower than the 3rd.  Why?  I wanted Ferry, guaranteed.  We would have never gotten anywhere if you had kept talking #5, because Ferry might not have slipped past you and bulls.

But it had nothing to do with being online.  I had a very specific need I was going for.

I think after this season is over getting Daniels and Sammy for Boozer will be considered one of the best trades of the season, I really do.  I now have the best defensive frontcourt in the leauge, 2 20 ppg scorers, and one of the best ballhandling pg's in the league.

Question...why did you trade the pick if you wanted Ferry, pending your drafting of Pettit with #2?

I wanted Ferry guaranteed because I knew the Pistons wouldn't trade Dalembert without getting another center.

Heh, I just realized that Ferry's hometown team is the Nets.

Ah well, hometown boy isn't coming home.
