Taking in FA's in a deal involving picks

Say there is a trade where team A would trade draft picks and in return, recieve a player from team B. The player from Team B is a FA (use Eddie Robinson as an example from my roster).
Would team A have to resign the player from the FA market?

Player salaries have been moved to next year. So Eddie Robinson won't be a free agent until after the next season.

That makes so much more sense, I saw Eddie as a FA in year one, and saw him on the potential FA list and thought he was a FA this year (silly me), I didn't think you'd update things that fast.
Good job with this league man, you're quick on everythin from FA stuff to answering questions

I'd like to take credit, but the program automatically updates everything, all I have to do is click "End Season" and poof

With my Logitech MX1000 wireless laser mouse, you're damned right it was.
And hey, I did have to upload the files to the webserver

And you did a great job. You were like 55% from behind the arc.
