Hey relax. There is NO rule violation.
Trading the 2020 pick just follows the (approved) example of the Blazers/Hornets
Trading the 2021 pick, which Nuggets would also have acepted, would be as clean as a deal can be.
Ivan, we both inquired long enough if the Hornets deal isn't a violation. And apart from no response it was put through. So, how do they say? If you can't beat then, join them ...
Sorry, Tom, but that is just pure BS. In allowing the Blazers/Hornets deal Bods specifically stated that he was allowing it because he misspoke and said it would clear after the draft. It had nothing to do with the program allowing it. And if the deal would have worked with the 2021 pick then you should have done it that way until the commissioner changed the rule.
The attempt you have made to force the rules to fit your agenda should be unacceptable. In essence you cheated to get an advantage. Bods stated in allowing the other deal...as well as in another thread...that he hadn't changed the rule. He was going to make a ruling. IMO that means the rule stands until specifically stated otherwise. Your move was cheap.
